Great location, too bad there were no blankets on the bed and the so-called courtyard view was more like a cement bunker roof!

The sink was a little odd and small, but really zero complaints about the room and my stay. You are across from a pub, so if you're a light sleeper, probably best not to take the Premium Room, 1 King Bed, City View. But I sleep pretty soundly and so the noise didn't bother me. The staff were lovely. Highly recommend staying here.

We have stayed at the Bedford on numerous occasions. It's an older hotel that is well kept and charming. The best thing about the Bedford is it's walkability. You are on a pedestrian only street in the heart of Victoria. There are shops, pubs and restaurants literally outside the door. We never pull our car out of parking once we arrive. It's less that 2 blocks from the harbour and the beautiful Empress hotel. If you want to enjoy the charm of Victoria without spending an arm and a leg, this is the spot you want. The only negative is that the beds are older and a bit hard.

It would be nice to have a parking key for the entire stay instead of constantly having to pick it up,drive to parkade that is 2 blocks away and only have 20min to walk back to drop it off at the front desk. Customers with mobility issues will have a nightmare.

Amazing place as we were able to walk to so many places and nice staff. The down side is the bathroom wasn’t that clean, the grout was molding and the tiles around the sink where lifting. (You could see what the grout colour should be under the sink).

Loved how convenient this hotel was to everything. I was traveling alone and I enjoyed how easy it was to walk out the door and get around downtown Victoria. I always felt safe. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. This is a historic building but the staff have done a good job keeping it clean and well stocked.

I have stayed here on a few occasions. The location is a 10, walkable to everything in downtown Victoria. It used to be very cute and quaint but they have changed the entry layout and now share the space with a bar. It is noisy in the evening and was hard to fall asleep. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.
