I loved that it was in heart of Victoria. The single room exceeded my expectation's. It was more than enough space for two people, however be advised that there is a pub/nightclub next door that blasts music until 2-3 in the morning. But for the price of the stay it really is worth it.

The building is old but spotlessly clean. A quirky elevator but our room was quite beautiful with a lovely view of the harbour However it was freezing in the room even though we turned the thermostat to maximum. We sat with our coats on for a long time After flushing the toilet it ran on and on and we had to stop it manually taking off the lid There were lots of towels but it was too cold to take a shower The parking is very complicated so we chose to find a parking place ourselves Overall lovely old building but I won't stay there again

What I liked and didn't like are the same. The street is closed to vehicles so getting there is a pain but once you are there...the street is closed to vehicles which makes the downtown experience better.

Classic Old

I found the hotel clean, the service friendly and close to restaurants and entertainment. If you like classic old you are in luck. As there are two pubs on either side of the hotel and a nightclub close you might not care for the noise, but I found it wasn’t too bad. Unfortunately parking was a problem and really that was my only negative.
