We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Appalachian this week while volunteering for the Special Olympics. The unit was cozy, clean, and provided everything we needed to relax after a long day working with incredible athletes.Would definitely book again!

Positives: the host was quick to respond when I had questions, and explained things that I hadn't found on my own yet. The space was very neat and clean, the heating was a bit noisy but I stopped noticing after a while (like white noise) on the other hand it was very warm and toasty! The kitchen was adequate for basic cooking and the bedroom and living room very comfy!! My only issue was the triple-chirp of the carbon monoxide detector/smoke detector every minute. I immediately let the host know but the required battery (9V) was not kept in the spares cabinet above the microwave (only AA's). I took it upon myself to drive 2 miles up the road to buy a 9V at the gas station, only to install it and find that it did not stop the chirping. The host was in contact but suggested to unplug it

The couch was very uncomfortable with the TV at too high a location. There should be a detailed book for how to get ICE and other parking options. We had to hunt for directions and how to accomplish things. With no front desk, we were a little lost. The room was good overall.

This was my family’s first Vrbo experience and we couldn’t be more happy with the property! The owner, Henry, was very quick to respond when we needed a little guidance on to check in and also made sure to check in with me later on to see if we settled in ok. The property was super cute and quaint for our snowboarding trip. We cannot wait to come back again!

Wonderful weekend away

We stayed in this unit and absolutely loved it. We were just a short drive away from the all the orchards in Warwick, NY. The accommodations were perfectly located with quite a few things to do in the area. We will stay again.
