Eagle Lake Fishing - Getaway Cabin

This beautiful private guest house offers one bedroom and 1 bathroom. Located on famous Eagle Lake, just 3 hours East of Winnipeg Manitoba. You’ll get a great night’s rest on the queen-sized bed that you can find in the masters bedroom with room darkening privacy blinds.
Perfect for fishing famous Eagle Lake. Trophy Muskie, Walleye, Smallmouth. Large dock for boats, Power at dock, marked maps for fishing spots. One mile from public boat ramp.

Make yourself at home during your stay, as the kitchen is fully equipped. Access to Satellite TV and Laundry facility ( please bring your detergent etc) is also available here.

We welcome your dog to travel with you, but would like to know that they will be coming along, as our dog will be on site as well. Also for safety and liability reasons we need to know if extra guests will be arriving on property, we also have a charge for any persons over 2

Pefect Cozy Cabin for 2

Angie & Eric were great hosts & very welcoming. They treated us as if we were friends & reminded us that businesses would be closed because of the upcoming holiday. We had a great day in the boat with Eric guiding. The cabin was wonderful and fully supplied. Dinners on the deck with a fabulous view was a perfect way to end the day.

Eagle Lake cabin

Expectations exceeded. Clean, new, well kept and well outfitted with everything you need for a fishing base camp or just a place to relax. The hosts treated us like old friends and made sure our stay was the best it could be. The only thing you need to bring is food and fishing gear. If you’re looking for some great fishing advice, Eric is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you’re serious about fishing and want fantastic accommodations, this is your place.

Bucket List

Being relatively new to musky fishing, I prepared for this trip by listening to podcasts. The best advice I picked up was to find a notable guide for the lake you are going to fish. We found one with Eric from the Hidden Gem and he was spot on both with spots and techniques to use. Over 3 days of fishing hard we rose 16 musky and caught 3, all of which were our PB’s. The accommodations at Hidden Gem were amazing and the hospitality from Angie and Eric was even better! Thanks for the great memories, we will be back. Kevin and Kim

Truly a Hidden Gem!

Owners, Eric and Angela were wonderful in every way. Property is private and exceptionally well appointed...a Hidden Gem! Renting a boat provided good fun and fishing. Eric is a multi species guide as an added bonus. If you are wanting privacy and visit Eagle Lake, Ontario and want to fish and/or relax...this is the Gem! Class act in every way! Thank you, Eric and Angela for a wonderful stay. Five stars you two!

Amazing views

Great hosts. We couldn't stop taking pictures of the skies and the lake. The cottage is so well supplied - never stayed anywhere before that had everything we needed to cook like at home. Would definitely return.

Prime private location on Eagle Lake near Vermillion Bay. Incredible view of the lake right from the front deck of the cabin. Well kept spacious and cozy cabin complete with everything you need for an incredible getaway. A quick 15 minute drive brings you to the crystal clear water and beautiful beach at Blue Lake. The hosts are very accommodating and made sure nothing was lacking during our stay. Hope to return next year. 5 Stars all the way.
