Air conditioning throughout. Park access is a 100-yard walk, the west entrance 15 minutes by car. Swim through the afternoon, hike once the sun drops. Pets welcome.

A single-level, two-bedroom house on the boundary of Joshua Tree National Park, built around a private pool. The land behind it is park, so nothing gets built out back and the nights stay properly dark.

Worth knowing before you book: this is a quiet, private stretch of desert, and it gets genuinely hot from June into September. The house is air conditioned and the pool is the point. The nearest shops and restaurants are a short drive, not a walk. Guests who want a walkable town center will be happier elsewhere. Guests who want silence, open sky, and water to get into tend to come back.

This house is within walking distance to the border of Joshua Tree Park. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and has view views of magnificent Joshua Tree boulders and the architectural wonder of the Kellogg House which can be seen from the backyard. The house is also within walking distance to Maso Menos, a new hip coffee shop that just opened in the neighborhood.

Enough parking on the property for 4 vehicles.

This home sits on private acres in a quiet neighborhood, where the rugged beauty of the desert is part of the experience. Dark skies, serene surroundings & high-speed internet make it the perfect spot for both remote work and complete privacy.

Please leave the house as you found it. If you have damaged or broken anything please let us know asap or we will have to charge you for damage. If there is excessive cleaning that needs to be done we will also need to charge you for that so please be mindful of how you treat the house while you are here. No open containers, opened food wrappers, no excessive alcohol use, and no smoking permitted.

Early check-in/Late check-out is 60$ an hour and subject to availability.
