Welcome to Greatwood, a fully renovated (top to bottom) 50s lake cabin on Horseshoe in turtle lake, Wisconsin. A serene setting atop a stairway down to the lake, you'll have the most peaceful view. Enjoy coffee on the expansive deck, a soak in the Lakeview hot tub, and curling up by either gas fireplace. A fully recreational lake is great for swimming and watersports, take out the kayaks or paddleboards provided free with your stay. 3 bedrooms with high quality linens and comfortable beds for everyone. Watch tundra swans, loons, deer, eagles, and more. Enjoy lake life and make lasting memories!

Horseshoe Lake is a 398 acre (57 foot deep) beautiful, medium size, clean and fully recreational lake in Comstock, WI. The lake is great for swimming, water sports, kayaking, fishing, etc! You are welcome to bring your own motorized boat if you like, and dock it at the cabin. The boat launch is on the southwest end of the lake. More info about Horseshoe Lake can be found at the WI DNR website.

This was a beautiful cabin to spend New Year’s Eve. The view from the living room was breathtaking given it had snowed and the lake was frozen over.

Wonderland

One of our all time favorite properties! Immaculately clean. Modern. Functional. Beautiful. The setting on the lake is picture perfect. We were so grateful to have central AC during our humid/warm stay. We used everything on this property - the deck area, the firepit, the grill, the screened in porch, the dock, the hot tub, the hammock, the raft, the paddle boards, the kayaks and the pontoon boat. This place checked all the checkboxes. The beds were comfortable and we truly appreciated bringing along our golden retriever with us on vacation so much. The lake was a dream to swim in. And we adored seeing and hearing the loons. The host was so courteous, helpful and always very responsive. Highly recommended. Will be back!!

Beautiful lake home

This was a perfect quiet getaway. We even caught a fair amount of fish right from the dock. The kids had easy access for swimming and paddle boarding as well. Beautiful, clean home. Kitchen was probably one of the better stocked rentals I’ve stayed at. I’ve learned to bring my own Tupperware when staying at rentals. The only suggestion I would have would be to put some small dressers in the 2 larger bedrooms and a small shelving unit or something in the bathroom as there was no place to really store clothes or toiletries.

Amazing place!

This cabin has a great feel and wonderful views and lake access! We had everything we needs. The remodel was so nicely done. Love all the decor and huge windows. The deck and screened in porch where used a lot. Fire wood was dry and abundant. I wanted for nothing. True happiness at this place!
