Accommodation: The most significant issue was the lack of cell phone service. Reception was essentially nonexistent throughout the property, even with Italian phone plans. The only place with a minimal/unreliable signal was the rooftop pool. This became a real problem when we needed to monitor and adjust our travel plans. We ultimately had to leave the resort to find service. Accessing the accommodation: The surrounding roads are extremely narrow, and parking can be hard to find. The accommodation was clean, but the layout is not practical for a group of eight. The pull out sofa is in the kitchen/dining area and, when opened, occupies the entire space and blocks the exit door. The kitchen setup is limited for larger groups, and air conditioning is available in only two of the three bedrooms, with none in the main living area. The outdoor dining area is nice: spacious and has a lovely view (needs more shade). The pool area does not match the listing photos. Parts are damaged and neglected; there is no shower or seating, and shade is limited. There is also no lifeguard or posted pool rules, and children were sometimes unsupervised. One day, local wild pigs scattered trash (including used sanitary pads) left outside by another family across the stairwell to the pool. The mess remained for hours, and guests had to step over it! A charming nearby town with a grocery store and restaurants is within a short drive, and several beautiful swimming spots (Rocky) are accessible by car.
