Place was run down and not worth the money at all! I had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies and new sheets pillows and blanket because I was not laying on anything there! I wanted to leave but was not losing my 250. I changed my first room because they had me by an open space that was filled with trash and covered with a bored! Went to another room but it wasn't much better! Plus the pool doesn't work like they advertised! Place is run down!

This stay at best Western in Borden town was a complete mess! The manager and the front desk clerk was very rude I called to try to check in early they straight up told me no and if I wanted to I had to pay $25 to check in early! I told them no it's ok! I will wait until check in time! The guy patel said oh we tried to charge you for the room twice and it was denied I said why would you try charging.my card when I paid extra on Expedia to pay when I check in! He said because that's their policy which is a lie! I at this same hotel, back in May and I paid at the front counter and the lady was having trouble with the card machines so she had me go to the Wawa across the street to get cash. Her customer service was awesome last year! I told him all of this he stated this has been there policy for 6yrs (that was a lie) I transferred my money and called back to pay the room fee that they made me rudely pay! After paying extra to pay when check in! The lady that answered the phone took the payment and then hung up on me! I was very disappointed with this stay so I will never stay here again! Please bring back good customer service skills smh! Oh and also had to call the front desk because it was group of rude people cursing and smoking weed outside of my room at 1:30am I called the front desk and she said she will check it out and she did. She was the only one working there that had sense..Very Disappointed

Dead roaches in the room, mystery goop on the floor, stains on the pillows, crumbs in the bed. Not to mention the shady staircase where the literal part of the stair you step on was not attached to the actual staircase, so if you stepped on the edge the whole panel would flip off and you’d go flying down 3 flights of stairs. The pool and jacuzzi were advertised as open and the staff told us they’d been closed for 7 months. Also they failed to mention that this is set up like a motel where you walk straight into your room from the outside instead of the entry to the rooms being in a building. We obviously grabbed our stuff and ran out of there and went down the road to the Hampton by Hilton. Highly recommend them. They’re clean and the staff are amazing. Also the staff at the Hampton hotel informed us that this best western uses their rooms to put up the homeless and clearly they’re not washing the sheets after.

Almost nothing promised on the website or itinerary was fulfilled. The trashes were overflowing, the breakfast was near inedible, the pool was closed “for the rest of the summer”. While the room was fine on its own, the experience was overall unsatisfactory. 1 star.

Parking is easy but access points to motel are difficult. The rooms are surrounded by a gate so you have to go through the access points even if your room is on the other side. The rooms were fairly clean although the shower could have used a better scrub down. We had 6 bottles of conditioner, 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 set of towels for two of us and no toilet paper. The staff did replenish fairly quickly. The property could have used a good broom strick . The stairs concrete was falling apart. Joint Base MDL is a rendez vous point for military personel goimng to Iran so tough to find a room. We probably would not stay there again unless something better is unavailable.

For a one night stay it was bearable. The rooms looked okay from surface, but were not very clean. Some people reported heavy cigarette smoke smell in their room which was beyond tolerable and they left. There was no hair dryer in our bathroom and the mirror was dirty. Parking was convenient. The breakfast was horrible: Dry scrambles eggs and pork patty, at least the French toast was okay. Two kinds of cereal but they failed to refill the milk. The only fruit they provide was a banana. Coffee was watered down and all the juice is from concentrates. If you want healthier breakfast options, go to Wawa across the street. If you are looking for a clean, well kept hotel with good breakfast buffet, this is definitely not the place.
