We are a group of bicyclists who meet up to ride the Trempealeau area hills and valleys. All seven of us found comfortable sleeping accommodations. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed for preparing our post ride dinners, and the deck was great, providing us with awesome views and a terrific outdoor dining space. We made good use of the coffe bar every morning. We would recommend this house to anyone.

Our host, Jon, responded promptly to any question we had. The home was both beautiful and very well stocked overall. We do not typically find a home that has such a beautiful kitchen and amenities. We had a wonderful view overlooking the Mississippi River - being just over 1 block away, and watching the barges go through the dam & lock, watching the trains pass by. We even got to see a cruise ship go up river as it passed by in our view. I highly recommend this property and its owner!

Great house with amazing location on the river. Communicating with Jon was a breeze and the property was great - making a perfect base camp for a weekend of adventure with family. Close the Perrot park, walking distance to the historic Trempealeau hotel, and unbeatable river views. Our family greatly enjoyed our stay and plan to make this our go to when staying in the Trempealeau area.

Great property. Quiet little town. We were thankful to be able to get into the home warlier than the designated check in time. We enjoyed our stay very much! The home had all the appropriate ammenities. Would recommend some deeper cleaning. My kids found items in each of the top bunks and dirty socks and garbage under a couch cushion in the lower level.

We wanted a place to gather where we could share a big meal at a large table and follow up with games and a comfortable place to stay. This place provided all that and had the best view of the Mississippi River, too! We highly recommend walking a couple of blocks and up the stairs to see the site of a sacred Mississippian site!

Fathers Day family long weekend
We enjoyed the areas attractions and atmosphere. Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. The lock and dam can be seen from the house and it provided occasional entertainment as the tugs pushed barges through the chamber.
