Hotel staff was very pleasant. Room had a nice view of the bay but the carpeting was very stained and detracted from the overall experience. Paid a good price for the room and expected a little higher standard. It was a bit disappointing overall.

Excellent location, very nice beach

Wonderful view and excellent location. We had a very nice deck to relax on. Our ice cube maker didn't work so had to go to gas station for ice. Also, the tv was difficult to use. The staff were very friendly and came right away to try to remedy both situations. We would stay there again.

Nice location, pretty view, however the bathrooms could have been a little more updated and clean. A little noisy from others staying. overall not so bad, we are not disappointed that we stayed there

Beautiful Views

The best thing about this hotel was the incredible view of Grand Traverse Bay. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that each room has individual hot water heaters which were not large enough to fill the advertised jetted tubs with enough hot water to actually use them. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was for the hot tub in the room which I never got to use. I informed the staff and they were already aware of the situation and did not seem overly concerned about it. However, the view almost made up for it :-)

Beach Condo - not what I expected

The Beach Condo room was excellent - large, clean and comfortable. The balcony had no privacy. The dryer was broken. Some of the other condo rooms were booked by a groups of kids with "adult supervision". These kids ran up and down the steps, banged on the doors until 12 MN for the first 3 nights. I wouldn't stay here again because of the possibility of all of that noise. For the price that you pay, some quietness at night would be great. I will visit Traverse City again - it is beautiful and I love the restaurants, shops and beach.
