LF Borgo Trastevere
4/5 Good
"Lovely hotel in popular neighborhood of Trastevere. The A/C is very strong which is important during Roman summers. The bedroom and bathroom are nicely updated and aesthetically pleasing. I only give it a 4/5 because: (1) the entrance to the hotel is via a gate that leads into the a general apartment complex. As such they give you like 4-5 keys to get into the gate then the hotel door then 1-2 keys to enter your personal hotel room, which is annoying. (2) there isn’t a front desk person 24-7, but rather you can text a number, (3) some hotel rooms are in a courtyard that has apartment balconies above it and during my stay one of the apartments was having some religious ceremony and they were chanting for almost an hour which you could hear right into your bedroom and was quite a nuisance. While I appreciate the hotel location and modern interior, these cons almost make me want to just go to a regular hotel for the price. Just a heads up for others!"
