Loved this place!
We had a wonderful eight-night stay in this unit. Location is perfect -- it's right on the Strand, the beachfront park in Townsville. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store are a 5-10 minute walk away, but the unit is block from the closest restaurant so it stays quiet. Balcony overlooks the Strand and the ocean. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony, reading, looking out over the ocean, having a glass of wine, and watching the bustle on the Strand. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and had a well-provisioned kitchenette so we could do a lot of our meals there. Darryl and Julie had snacks waiting for us when we arrived, and were very helpful with questions about what to do in the area as well. Loved it here and was very sad when we had to check out and head home!

Great Location
This was a very comfortable place to stay in an amazing location. The extras in the room were great!! Delicious different coffee and teas to try, as well as chocolates, fruit and even almond milk just to name a few. It was really appreciated by us. The bed was comfortable and the view is wow!!! We'll be back.

Julie & Darryl were ACE HOSTS!!
From initial searching for accommodation, to description of their place, responding to queries, check-in, and check out.
They excelled in their 'welcome package' (unequalled in any other STAYZ we have done).
There were lots of 'Julie & Darryl touches' that made our Townsville holiday so special.
In addition, location was fabulous.
We enjoyed AMAZING SUNRISES over Cleveland Bay/Coral Sea watching the world go by...

- on sea ...dragon boats, canoes, boats, ships, flashing lights of the 'Platypus Channel Markers' of the shipping lane & specific coded strobe of Cleveland Point Lighthouse
- in air ...birds like Brahminy Kites, Ospreys and our airforce's planes.

Although the building is a bit dated, the unit itself was very clean and well appointed. The Host has thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable. Their communication was excellent, and super clear instructions were given for entry into the unit. We would definitely stay here again.

Hosts could not have been better with communication. They also left a lovely welcome gift of beer and nibbles and personalised note.
Centrally located along The Strand. Anzac Day Parade literally begins in front of the premises. We had a fantatsic stay.
