Good hotel in a great location

The Ardo is in a great location. It has a beautiful Rooftop bar and guests are able to use the next door sister hotel Le Ville. The rooms are modern and well equipped. We felt customer service let the hotel down. We discovered that we had been charged twice for our stay having pre-paid through Expedia in October. The hotel then took payment again. The receptionist tried to sort the mistake but needed management approval. We appreciate that management can be very busy but after we had waited 25 minutes we felt this was unsatisfactory and did not show great customer care.

Fab stay, beautiful hotel

Beautiful, new and clean modern hotel in great location with plenty of free parking. Fantastic roof top bar with fabulous views across Townsville and Magnetic Island. Only downside was only two hours free Internet- this is no good if you're travelling from abroad with no free roaming.

Very good, but not quite there.

I can’t fault the room, arrived on one of the wettest day in Townsville. Maybe not for them but certainly for me. Room very nice, location excellent but due to rain views non existing. Bed comfortable. Quiet room, so that side is awesome. But it’s like it has tried to hard, nowhere to put suitcase. So on the ironing board it went. Cup’s supplied for the coffee/tea were too small for the coffee bags. No cutlery for takeaway food, the restaurant are only open in the evening, have to walk next door for breakfast or coffee. The little things that haven’t quite completed the hotel. Again I can’t complain about the room or the Service. Both of those were definitely five star.

Very nice new building in the last year or so. Clean with a comfortable bed. Nice to be able to use the pools in the 2 properties side by side. 10 minute walk to the Magnetic Island passenger ferry. Very comfortable for our 2 night stay.
