In addition, visitors can reach by boat the Veronese shore of Lake da Salò (17 minutes by car), reach the elegant resort of Gardone Riviera and visit the Vittoriale (7 minutes by car) or visit Padenghe sul Garda, known for extra virgin olive oil and D.O.C. wines (33 minutes by car). A little further along the coast (1 hour drive) is Sirmione and its famous spa. Verona is 1 hour and 15 minutes by car and Venice is just over 2 hours by car.

The property is set in the hills, so a car is essential unless you don’t mind a long walk. It’s compact at the top, but the rooms themselves are a good size.The shower room has a slightly awkward layout, and water tends to go everywhere, so be ready to use extra towels. The bedrooms are spacious, but as they’re on the ground floor with limited ventilation, there’s a slight musty smell, and the air conditioning can be temperamental.The swimming pool is lovely, located on a lower level and surrounded by greenery, though you may notice a few bugs around.Overall, the property could benefit from a little TLC, but it has the potential to be a really enjoyable stay
