Room was clean and cute. Wouldve rated as excellent if the bedding had not been terrible. Bittim sheet on mattress did not even cover the top of the matress. The duvet was fairly old which would have been fime if it had a cover on it that was acceptable. A flat sheet under the duvet and a flat sheet on top do NOT make a duvet cover. People were lovely and helpful. Just need better bedding!

The management have done a great job renovating this building into an affordable and very comfortable experience. The common areas were pretty old (stairs etc) but the priority is the room which was clean, modernized and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely renovated (although it could have used hooks for towels and space shelf for soap but these are minor inconveniences). The staff were always welcoming. The Pembroke provided very good value for the money.

The staff was great and the room was very clean, but the bed was uncomfortable, and me and my wife didn’t sleep well. The room was also quite small. Unfortunately, our rental car was keyed while parked a few doors down, and there’s no way to tell when it happened. Other than that, everything else was good, and the overall stay was pleasant.

The place was quaint and located conveniently to public transit and places to eat/shop. Having coffee/tea in the lobby was nice, and they refreshed my towels every-other day.

Road trip

The staff was friendly and helpful. There are no elevators so you have to carry everything up and down stairs, the staff will help if you ask. They only have parking for maybe 6 cars and you have to pay to park. Our room was very small, making getting in and out of bed a challenge.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the room (Deluxe Room) was so clean and had everything I needed, the shower was fantastic, the courtyard was so nice and private thanks to the trees and gate, and it was really quiet in the area and felt safe. There are also so many dining and shopping locations in close walking distance. Highly recommend!
