The staff were very helpful and did their best to address our issues, however the property is old and the bed was creaky which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The neighborhood is out of their control of course so there's nothing they could do about the homeless or the bums sprawled on the street further south on Pembroke Ave.

Great little economical hotel if you’re just looking for a place to crash. I love the neighborhood but at night if you’re walking it can be/feel a little unsafe.

I stayed for 2 nights at the Inn and it was exactly as the reviews from previous guests. Very welcoming, always making sure you have all you need, any questions, the place is very clean. No complaints, will definitely stay here again when in the city for a concert or another event I am attending.

3.5 rounded up. If you need a place to stay for the night without any bells and whistles, this is the place! The area is a bit sketchy. Staff were lovely and friendly! Beds are definitely cheaper mattress and we had visions for pillows which I thought was odd. There is virtually no soundproofing so if you are a light sleeper maybe not the place for you. Overall it was fine. Everything was clean, no strange room smells.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner in a Deluxe room. There was no major issues and on a whole the experience was good. The walls and ceiling in the room had splash marks and stains on them and the room was a bit small for 2 adults with 2 cases. The street the hotel is on isn’t the most pleasant with what we think was a homeless hostel of some sort, but it was only 10/15min from the Eaton Centre and we had no trouble. The only other issue was the walls in the hotel seem a bit thin as you can hear other guests in their rooms and people in the corridor.

Great place to stay in DT Toronto! Clean, affordable, bed was clean and comfortable Staff are awesome and very helpful Location is great 10 min walk to Yonge, or a street 5 min walk to bus stop on Dundas street Air conditioner was greatly appreciated!

Was a bit surprised to know that I had to pay the deposit and the full stay the same day when my first time at the inn they required the full payment at the end , confusing because it wasn’t mentioned on their website

It was a great place for overnight! The bed was like a cloud, woderful sleep. Absolutely no view of outside so wouldn't have wanted to spend any amount of the day there.

To be clear, I loved my stay here. The only caveat is that the area is incredibly sketchy. For someone who has not lived in or is familiar with Toronto, it may be a very uncomfortable area to stay in. The property was excellent, the service was great, and I would absolutely stay again. My only grip is that the door slam hard when closing, if you let them go making for a rough morning for a sleep in.

Alright for the price

Our stay overall was alright. Staff at the front desk was great. The room was oversprayed with some sort of product to freshen rhe room. Our door did not close shut, so we needed to put the lock on always.
