DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOBALSTAYS. They are a scam. Disgusting!!! Upon arrival I noticed that the bed sheets had bloodstains and dirt/blood stains on the duvet. I took photos and sent it to their email the next morning. I also found MOLD on the shower curtain. A day later I start noticing I have bed bug bites. Following that day I am covered in bed bug bites. I tried to request my money back and they refused. Luckily Expedia deemed this unit unlivable and relocated me to a hotel near by. At the end of my stay I got an email from GlobalStays and they charged me $80 for the stained bed sheets and duvet!! DO NOT STAY HERE.

The first floor of the building is a Whole Woods so that made it really easy to not need to go out for every meal. Parking was included. I would say the only issue was checking in as you need to just park on the road and figure out how to get into the building to collect the key fob and apartment key.

The property was well located and easy access for Toronto either by road or public transport. Access to the unit was difficult on day one and no one behind a phone, just a faceless chat on WhatAp which delayed access by 2 hours after a long flight due to the keys not being availale.

Overall good despite checkin process

The condo itself was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. They are also very responsive to phone and email, and were helpful anytime I reached out. It loses 1 star because the check in process is awkward - having to find a key in a lockbox in the basement, and because the security deposit must be paid online using paypal or etransfer.

Good location, spacious space. The only sketchy thing is that the globalstay company asked for a separate deposit through WhatsApp and wouldn’t share the key lock information until you paid. Deposit was refunded but took a few days.

The property and stay was good but after we checked out they claimed we ruined a blanket and towels, the pictures were clearly not from the unit we stayed in, would not recommend staying here, seems like an additional money grab

Confusion

The room was very clean the view was great we were on the 30th floor. The beds were terrible I slept on the couch although I paid for 2 bedrooms. There was sheets and towels in the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher. They sent different emails on getting to the place parking and getting the keys. It was confusing and frustrating after a long day of travel. They also wanted a picture of my license me holding my license and my car make and model which was a rental. It’s not like checking into hotel. The price was worth it but where I need a good bed to sleep on I would think about renting again.

We had such a wonderful stay here! Check-in procedure was very clearly outlined and easy to follow, the condo was very clean and well-equipped with anything you might need, and there is direct access to the TTC. Our only complaint is that one of the mattresses was a bit too firm for our liking. We would absolutely stay again!
