Magical

Precious cabin for two! Beautiful drive on winding road along and over the White Oak Creek with views of the mountains forest and water falls. Lots of outdoor recreation activities. I booked white water rafting on the Nantahala in the morning and zip lining in the mountain forest in the afternoon! The fully equipped kitchenette was perfect for quick morning breakfast. I brought prepared food and easy oatmeal, honey, walnuts. There is an outdoor grill and fire pit! Coffee pot was big plus since I brought my favorite coffee. The hot tub served for a relaxing and meditative morning! My lab pups loved running around the property, fortunately we were only inhabitants during our stay so they very happily roamed free! I had leads handy to attach them close to the cabin if needed. The entire property was lovely, picturesque and serene.

Coyote Song

We stayed at Chelokee Cove Cabins’ Coyote Song May 31-June 1, 2025. The accommodations were as described. Great value for the price! A creek/stream runs alongside each cabin. That, coupled with the outdoor seating/fire pit and picnic table makes for a lovely scene. The environment was peaceful and quiet, with the sound of the stream creating great ambiance. While we did not use the hot tub, it’s conveniently located and has stairs for easy access in and out. We definitely plan to come back and will stay longer next time and take in more of the nearby activities. We did hike Tellico Gap. A nice, moderate-difficulty trail with beautiful views. The owner provides all the information you need for a relaxing stay. The check-in and out processes are super easy. And lastly, you can purchase bundles of firewood behind Moose Song cabin for 5. Be prepared to use cash or Paypal/Venmo/Cashapp. The cabin itself also has some sundries for purchase. Be prepared to bring your own toiletries as well as charcoal, etc. if you wish to use the outdoor grill. There’s also on-site laundry. Just need to bring your own detergent.

This beautiful little cottage offers a peaceful stay in a somewhat secluded area. It was pretty spacious for a tiny cottage. It was clean. If you like to hike it is close to some great hiking. The host was kind and easy to work with. The hot tub was amazing after a long hike. We will be back. hike.

Cozy cabin away from it al

My husband and I were on a road trip from California and stayed in Topton for a few days of hiking. We loved the cabin, including the amenities of a small kitchen. Beautiful wooded surroundings at the end of a gravel road. Dark & quiet.

Great place to stay

Visited the area for my birthday. The cabin is nice, just a little small but it’s enough for being there just to sleep. We had a moment where we had no water but the owner was quick to respond with a resolution and it worked. Hot tub was good, nice fire pit. Super quiet area and gorgeous views of the stars. Would stay here again

Excellent cabin

We stayed for 12 days, and had an excellent time. The cabin packs a lot of amenities, including a shared laundry area which was super convenient, given our long-ish stay. The location is superb, facing a beautiful stream. You will be one hour away from the nearest town (Murphy or Franklin, the latter is nicer), so bring your groceries. Perfect vacation spot up in the Nantahala.

Small Cabin, Big Fun

Loved my vacay. It was me and my 65 pound poodle. The cabin was smaller than I imagined but perfect. I enjoyed a good bit of time relaxing in the hot tub, while Charlie liked the creek. We drove down to the Nantahala raft start and enjoyed the trails. On the way back up to the cabin we stopped at one of the pull offs so he could get in river. The WiFi service was great as I didn’t have a signal with T-MOBILE. There was 1 spot where I had a signal outside. Kent was very responsive and Diane did an awesome job of having the cabin clean and ready for us. I was skeptical the space heater would keep me warm but I burned up, the cabin sure kept its heat which was great. Would love to return when it’s a little warmer to be able to do more exploring.

Nice and quiet

Just a couple of issues. There is a little bit of black mold starting around the bathroom baseboards and towel pegs. Not enough hot water for two showers. Apart from these minor issues, it was just what we were hoping for.
