Beautiful house exactly as advertised

The house was beautiful and the check in was easy with excellent communication from the owners. In advance they let me know what I needed to know before arrival. Would stay again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This rental is a gem. We loved being on the lake and enjoyed the ability to bring our dog, George Clooney. The owners have remodeled the home & they have thought of everything. We can’t wait to return! Thank you!

Lovely stay on Nantahala Lake!

Beautiful property/home, quiet, very clean in a gated community. Uncrowded, easy to find area. Comfortable rooms, well stocked kitchen with new appliances, new washer/dryer downstairs. Deck/balcony propane grill was perfect:) Seasonally too warm for us to use fireplaces or balcony fire table... Saw deer, many hummingbirds, one small bear! Overall, a wonderful stay at Nantahala Lake:)

Stairway to heaven…

Nicely equipped house on the beautiful Nantahala lake. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds terrorize each other. We truly felt like we were staying in a tree house! We enjoyed the provided kayak and the lily pad mat. Excellent communication with the owners. Seamless! Very spacious house with nice updates throughout. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks again!

Cozy lake house

One of the nicest lake houses I’ve stayed at, with an absolutely stunning view of lake Nantahala. We come to this lake every summer, and we like to stay at different locations each time to enjoy the breath taking views of lake Nantahala, but I think we may have just come back to this particular lake house. I loved the double porches with views of the lake and the spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. The homeowners were so welcoming and went beyond to make sure we had any questions answered. And of course, being on the lake is always a great time. Highly recommend.

Very nice lake house

We stayed for five nights in July. The hosts are great with excellent and thorough communication. They seem like genuinely nice people and offered a free night’s stay (unfortunately we couldn’t come early) in addition to what we booked just because the house was open that night! Very nice house that was quiet and the lake itself is cool in the summer and not overpopulated. We rented a boat from a local marina that was delivered to the dock directly. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you.

Happiness on the Lake!

This lake house was exactly what we had hoped for! The view was absolutely spectacular! We found the property welcoming and comfortable, a “home away from home.” We particularly enjoyed kayaking (provided by owners), sitting outside on the balcony drinking wine and making s’mores! The peacefulness and beauty of Lake Nantahala is everything we had hoped for. We were able to prepare several enjoyable meals in a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable. The gas fireplace was particularly appreciated during this year’s first cold snap. Louis and Robynn were very welcoming, attentive and responsive. We plan on returning next year! Thank you for sharing your home with our family!
