Great week!

The Pinecone Cottage was wonderful! Perfect for our family of 8. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for our granddaughters to run around and play. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Perfect for our purpose

Our daughter desired a lakefront wedding at her fiancé's cottage on an adjoining lake. We opted to stay here with our family and also hosted the bridesmaids activities the morning of the wedding. A beautiful setting with the lake just a few steps away. I was able to experience my "first look" with my daughter and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting than the Pinecone Cabin. This home is completely stocked with everything you could imagine. No need to pack anything other than your clothing as the hosts have considered everything. The pictures did not represent the warmth and beauty of the home and property. My children thought it would be a good idea to rent this home for one week each summer. Though we would benefit from renting a property with four bedrooms, if you only require three, this home should definitely be considered.

2023 vacation

We had a terrific vacation at the Pinecone as we have in past years. Beautiful home and we lucked out with great weather! Good fishing on the chain with musky, pike, walleye and bass. We took advantage of the pool at the resort for the younger children who loved it. Thank you.

Three Lakes Getaway

Beautiful house in a great location with easy access to a boat. Many beautiful lakes to explore, people are friendly and local restaurants with great food. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit!

Pictures don't do justice to capture the absolute piece of heaven this house is.

The owner is prompt with messaging and answering your phone call which was super comforting. He was also able to give us some restaurant recommendations in the area. From the minute you drive into the driveway the property takes your breath away. The house is the perfect set up for family time with the picturesque backdrop of the lake. We rented a boat from Watercraft and kept it at the assigned pier which is also steps from the house. We seen deer in the yard multiple times and an eagle soaring over head. There are so many things to love at this property it truly is a slice of heaven. We definitely are already planning our next trip.

Great stay!

We highly recommend staying at The Pinecone Cottage! The home is beautiful, clean and with being on the chain, you can't beat the location. The home (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) is well stocked and the host is very attentive to any needs that may arise. Another plus was being able to use the amenities at the Northernaire Resort. The outdoor hot tub came in handy on a couple cooler nights:) I wouldn't hesitate to book this rental again.

Summer Fun

What a great location to relax with family! Conveniently located on the Chain of Lakes with a dock right by the house. We enjoyed every water sport, especially the fishing. The house was clean and extremely well stocked, one of the best I have stayed at actually. I highly recommend this locations for those who love seclusion, water and luxury.

We loved this cabin!

We plan to come back again! Love the layout of the home, good size living area and kitchen. The home was clean and the owner was available if we had any questions. Loved the location! It was close to the water and had great access to the dock. Spacious deck to sit outside and nice fire pit area. It was peaceful and we had a great time with our friends! Thank you!!

Spacious, relaxing home complete with amenities

House was well situated right by a lake and part of a resort complex, which provides access to a small indoor pool and jacuzzi (out of order at that time) and large jacuzzi outside. We rented a pontoon boat from a nearby shop an drove the boat over to the dock near the house (please be sure to reserve a space at the resort desk). House was well furnished and clean; the kitchen well stocked with cooking ware and equipment. Place and surrounding areas was generally quiet and peaceful, even though we were still in the height of summer Checking in was simple. Owner was very responsive to email. We had four small children and they loved the house. I had only a few suggestions for improvement. First, one of the bed in the lower room sunk in a bit, which made sleeping two persons on it a little uncomfortable. Also, the reservation indicated a checkout time of 11AM and the cleaners came by at 10AM and seemed a little impatient that we were staying too long (we left at 10:20AM); clearly a miscommunication. But overall, these were very minor issue. We had two families of four with small children staying there, and everyone loved it. It was a great getaway for all of us, especially the parents.

Great time in the Northwoods!

Our family had a great time at this property. The house was just as advertised and the owner was extremely responsive with any questions. It was a great combination of private family time along with time spent at the Northernaire Resort for the family. We would strongly recommend this to any family!

Great Weekend stay in early summer

The pinecone home was a great place to stay for the weekend, everyone in the group had a great time. The access to the water, fire pit and grill made it perfect for making meals at the house! I would definitely stay here again, thanks for the hospitality.
