The bathroom began to smell terribly and the smell supinated into the bedroom! As it turned as late and I had a very early start there was not anybody about who could do anything. However, this is an antique-like hotel. There is no safe storage in the room I stayed in. I do not know if all the other rooms were the same as mine. They did not provide any slippers for guests, and the robe has no belt to tie it around your waist. The staff were okay, but needed more hospitality training. Actually, I wanted to give three and a half stars, but I opted for four.

I stayed here for 12 nights. When I arrived there was soap scum all over the shower and also garbage in it. The products in the room were never replenished even when asked. One day the room was not cleaned and I was told that the cleaners just didn’t show up. Another night there was a fire alarm on for over an hour. The windows sounded like they were open when they were closed and it was very difficult to sleep with all the noise on the street. There were renovations both inside the hotel and across the street which started very early in the morning. The front desk staff were nice but the manager laughed at me when I asked for compensation for all of the issues that I had. Would not recommend staying here!

Disappointing stay in Tel-Aviv best location

The bad things: The hotel is in a poor maintenance condition. The air conditioning was very noisy and out of our order part of the time of my stay. One day out of the two of my stay there where no hot water in the shower caused by a fault in the hotel pipes, apparently that was for all rooms. It was fixed only in the evening. For the good things: The location of the hotel is perfect. The best in Tel-Aviv. The guy at the reception, named Ran, was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The price of that hotel is quite low in comparison to other hotels in that area.
