Overall it was good. A couple of things detracted slightly. One was spots of sauce on the wall beside the dining table when we arrived. Another is lack of bench or cupboard storage space in the bathroom. Also very little towel hanging. We are asked to assist in reducing impact of washing towels by re-using them but nowhere to hang them to dry and no heated towel rails.

Room with a view

Spacious, comfortable unit, though sofa and carpet looked a bit tired. Nice to have a comfy seat for watching tv or looking at the view. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good sized thermal pool for soaking (not swimming). Lakefront location is terrific and patio area is a nice place to sit and look across lake. Cafe close by for coffees too.

Wonderful views right on the shore of the lake sunset across the water was magical. Difficult to find the entrance from main road could have better signage. Enjoyed the thermal pool. Could not fault the facilities in the unit.

This was one of our favorite stops. We loved our room looking out over the lake and appreciated the jacuzzi tub after doing the Tongariro Crossing hike. The room was clean and was a short drive to shopping and restaurants.

Nice property about 5 mins from Taupō township. Large ground floor apartment with excellent lake views and access to common area hot pool. Tons of people go by the apartment to exercise, walk the lake side with kids, swans feeding in lake too - was a vibe, apartment still felt safe and quiet. Spa bath in room was cool too. Handy to have use of site washing machine and dryer available to use. Would stay there again.
