Our stay at hotel residential Puerta was amazing. We chose the hotel because it’s at the pier where you catch the ferry to Morocco and we did a day trip. I upgraded to the room with a harbor view balcony, and our view was spectacular. Great sunrise and sunset and ambience. The morning breakfast buffet was amazing, our room was amazing and we would definitely stay there again! The staff were helpful and we received a complementary refrigerator full of beverages in addition to a bottle of sparkling wine.

Our room was not ready at check in time, and we had to wait an additional half hour to get into our room. We had traveled all day and were exhausted. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude about it. When we asked if we could have a late check out in exchange for the delayed check in, they told us no.

AMAZING 5 day stay! Absolutely beautifully decorated in Moorish style with incredible attention to detail! Eco friendly. THE BEST breakfast with a HUGE variety of fresh organic options. Beautiful roof top heated pool with loungers and stunning views of North Africa. Friendly, accommodating and attentive staff. Highly recommend and we will definitely return to this hotel when visiting this charming bohemian town!

The staff were all very helpful and the property went above and beyond, offering all mini-bar options for free of charge, as well as packing our group a generous breakfast "to-go" as we were catching the ferry to Tangier before their included breakfast buffet would start.
