Perfect relaxation

This is just what we were looking for. It's like camping/fishing trip only not in a tent and with lots of extra goodies provided by the owner.She thought of everything! Also,none of the crazy fees that you usually have to pay..very reasonable.If you want a weekend getaway..this is the place!

Nice getaway not too far from town

We really enjoyed our stay at twisted pine! All of the little details made it so great. From the freshly made pecan pie to the chicken/duck eggs in the fridge. The bees were cool to see and the spring fed lake/pond was beautiful. Will definitely come back again :)

Great Cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at the Twisted Pine cabin with our 2 dogs. The cabin had everything we needed and then some! We appreciated the snacks, chicken and duck eggs, and especially the homemade chocolate chip cookies. The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to/watch the birds. We loved the peaceful and remote location, yet we were still close to the FSU campus. A perfect stay!

Awesome Cabin!

We loved our stay at Twisted Pine cabin! The cabin is just right for 2 people and a dog. While rustic-looking on the outside, we found the cabin to be amazingly modern with many unexpected features! We found it clean, well equipped, and sensibly organized. The area is beautiful with a quiet lake with an island! We will definitely look to stay here again when back in the Tallahassee area.

Peace and Quiet in a Cozy Cabin

Great directions to this adorable small cabin set on a pond along with another cottage and the owner's house. They are spaced far enough apart and with tree breaks so you feel very private. The house itself is adorable with a comfy sofa in the living/kitchen area. Nice size TV with a variety of options for viewing TV and movies.The kitchen is small but well equipped. We cooked dinner and enjoyed breakfast and lunch there. Additionally, there were a variety of snacks, coffee, tea as well as duck eggs, creamers of all kinds and homemade meyer lemon breakfast bread. Delicious.The bedroom felt remarkably spacious with high ceilings. The bathroom was quite a surprise with a shower that anyone would envy. Plus the thoughtfulness of the owner was evident even here with a medicine cabinet full of necessities such as hairspray, sewing kit, aspirin and much more. Every detail was considered!This was a great stay and we will be back to spend more time.

perfect weekend getaway

The cabin is set up beautifully. The host provide everything we could need plus some. We took time to visit the ducks, walk around the pond and hung out on the bridge just taking in the nature. We enjoyed our anniversary very much and are looking for a reason to visit again the future.

New and clean

Such a cute cabin. It’s on the owners property, but it’s such a big lot you feel like you’re in a secluded area out in the woods. It’s about 30 minutes from the downtown and university area. The cabin was very charming, clean and all looked new. The host was very accommodating and responsive. They left fresh eggs from their chickens and ducks, made us a delicious cobbler and we got to taste the honey from their bees!

A hidden gem

What an amazing little cabin...perfect for a couple or small family. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Ann, our hostess was right there if we needed something. Awaiting us were homemade rolls and their chickens' eggs! Talk about a country welcome! I'd definitely stay here again...a peaceful, quiet little getaway!

My husband and I live in Louisiana and work on the water. We wanted a peace and quiet getaway. We were looking for much needed downtime. This was perfect! We were able to bring our puppies and they had freedom to explore and they did! The property is amazing! Ann absolutely understands the comforts that make a stay welcoming. The hospitality was beyond what we could have imagined. The first morning as we sat on the porch overlooking the lake, we knew this was the medicine the doctor ordered. Simply perfect!

We have stayed at Twisted Pine twice now! Mrs.Ann is the perfect host and has thought of every detail to make sure your stay has everything you could need for a home away from home! There is so much thought and care that goes into this little cabin. Everything you could possibly need is stocked, plus extra goodies. We had coffee and fresh eggs both mornings we were here, we had fresh baked scones and tea every night. We walked the property to see ducks and the chickens. The lake is picturesque and we had a great time every morning just taking in the scenery and listening to the birds on the screened in porch. I thoroughly enjoyed having the honeybee's so close--and the honey is fantastic! Although it's a little tucked away, it's just a short drive away from multiple stores restaurants, and an off road trail. We had such a a good time here, I hope we get the chance to come back

Great sot and amazing host

This must be my favorite place yet.. not just because of the place itself although it was super cute but all the thought and love that goes into it! For our weekend getaway we were greeted with freshly baked scones and homemade muscadine jelly on the counter. These owners thought of everything we might need from binoculars on the porch to freshly made gingerbread creamer. All the lovely touches truly made this place extraordinary! Not to mention it’s nestled on plenty of property and we saw a family of deer 😍 Would definitely stay again!

Nature lovers dream

This property is stunning. Mrs. Ann was available at all times. It was stocked with all that you need for cooking, grilling, she also had a homemade pecan cranberry cinnamon roll with date that it was made and was delis, along with other snacks. Very clean, actually a brand new cabin. We especially loved the screened in porch. Thank you Mrs. Ann! We will be back.

Quick stop on the way home

This was our last stop on our way back home from Chicago, and what an amazing place it was! It is a brand-new cabin situated on a small lake with lots of wildlife. There are bees, ducks, and chickens on the property that keep the cabin stocked with fresh eggs and honey (both delicious, by the way). Also, upon our arrival, there was fresh-made peach cobbler and cinnamon rolls! We would definitely visit again. The host, Ann, was amazing, and the property was pristine.10/10
