Highly highly recommend this location especially if you like to swim. This building has so much culture in it. The Olympic size pool is beautiful with an amazing view of the building. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Taipei besides this hotel. Service was amazing, very clean place and great restaurants to eat that. Located not too far from a lot of the activities!

This is a better than average hotel for the price. They’re almost large and well renovated. The hotel has great history so we’re staying here. Also has a very good view of the city and convenient shuttle buses to take you down to the MRT. Some nice little shops. The buffet was unremarkable. Overall a nice stay

It is a wonderful property and a destination like hotel because you will d to use a car service to travel to anything outside the hotel: food, shops, extensive site seeing although there is some accessible walking trails with beautiful views. The hotel has some boutique shops inside and restaurants as well. This is a historical hotel kept up well. My room just had some water issues that looked like they had attempted to attend to before but the fix didn’t hold. The culture and expectation is that guests are quiet but if guests are not you can hear some noise. Spacious rooms even the basic room. Buffet has a large selection each day.

Great hotel tourist attraction in its own right. Balcony allowed you to watch sunset. However breakfast was very expensive and awful Lots of food but none any good. Also, rooms are old and doors to balcony do not seal properly so you hear all thr traffic and planes ftom the nearby airport and metro trsins...so peaceful it isnt.

This place is grand with top notch service. Treat yourself and get a room with a balcony. The architecture here and grandure was another level. I wish I had more time to use some of the hotel amenities, but it was so good to come back to this hotel after a long day out exploring the city.

It's further away from the Taipei main areas but it provides free shuttle services that will take you to nearby MRT stations where you can go to night market or other places. The property itself is wonderful with great views of 101 and nearby mountains. Highly suggested!
