Noisy room, no sound isolation (from inside the hotel, not street noise). Carpet was disgusting. Chair in room was broken, as was the key holder on the wall, brown stains on counter. Staff was friendly but the hotel needs work.

A great place to stay! It's very accessible to trains and buses. It's also near the market and walking distance to Chang Kai-shek memorial Hall. There are shops and convenience stores nearby.

Very convenient location near Tongmen station. I originally picked a superior double room but ended up switching to a twin room because the room did not have bidet, contrary to the information on the Expedia webpage. In fact, the staff told me that the only rooms with bidet would be twin rooms. They did not seem to be aware of the information on Expedia. Travellers who care about this should be careful.

There are a lot of businesses around the hotel, for example, the food market, subway, 7-eleven, concert hall and parks. I even found a ping pong club. Also, the wall in the hotel are thin. The staff always tried to help.

Check Inn Express is in the perfect location, a few steps from both Dongmen MRT and very close to CKS, also walkable to Daan Park. It’s pretty no frills but comfortable and very reasonably priced. Have stayed several times and will again.

The staff was great. I had some problems with my air conditioning and they were responsive and attempted to fix it. I was there for a long time and I really thought the staff was excellent. Dongmen station is really easily accessible, which is also a plus. Yongkang St., the bigger shopping area, is only about a 7-8 minute walk, and Dongmen Market, the traditional food market, is literally right next door.
