We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Hill House. There were definitely some noisy guests during our first night but aside from that it was a pleasant stay. Having the dining option was also really nice.
Loved my experience! Staff was warm and welcoming. The golf course was a nice plus - there was a few holes that needed to be updated. Comfortable bedding and relaxing weekend away!!!
This is my favorite place to stay- breathtaking views, accommodating staff, old world charm- what's not to love? If you want nightlight, things to do and noise, this isn't for you. If you want a break from all of that- a chance to stop and reset, a chance to get away- a chance to breathe- this is the place. Hiking and outdoor activities are close by, but it's nice to just sit and watch the sunrise and sunset over the mountains.
The view from anywhere is absolutely amazing, the staff were all incredible and friendly, and the dinner and breakfast we had at the restaurant were both delicious. We went for a quiet weekend away to recharge and enjoy eachother's company and were not disappointed. We stayed in a premoum sunset room and as beautiful as it was, we hope to stay in a sunrise room next time because the view of all the mountains is breathtaking.
The staff were unbelievably friendly. Everyone was genuinely nice. It was very clean, beautiful grounds and views and it's pet friendly as well. Happy to have found it.
The room and property was very beautiful. The view of the mountains at sunset was so beautiful that pictures will not do them justice. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone. It was a great romantic getaway.

This is my fourth visit- the place is amazing, the views are breathtaking and the staff is warm and friendly. If you are looking for a place to go and unwind, to enjoy nature for all it's beauty and to stop an breathe, this is heaven. If you are looking for a booming nightlife, this isn't your place. Come and relax.

This is my second time staying there- it has quickly become my favorite place. It is quiet, serene and peaceful. The facility is perfect- they recently renovated and managed to keep the old world charm with some gentle upgrades. Is it perfect? No, it's not the Mount Washington resort. It is, however, majical. The views are breathtaking. The staff warm and friendly and non intrusive. It's quiet. There hardly seems to be anything going on. Perfect for refreshing getaways.
Kept the old world charm while having gentle updates. The view was breathtaking. Staff was the best I've dealt with in my 30 years of travel. The just did a major renovation and I'm curious to see what happens when it is complete- good way there, but a bit to go.

This is one of the best locations in New England to escape from the city and enjoy the mountains.
The inn is welcoming in an old fashioned, comfortable way. We read by the fire in the parlor. Breakfast was good. The staff/owners offered suggestions of local activities and restaurants.

Absolutely LOVED staying at the Inn at Sunset Hill. The owner and his wife were always there and making us feel at home. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The overall experience was amazing. Already planning our next stay!
Great short stay in a beautiful location. All the staff made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to ensure we had what we needed. We also loved the restaurant and the tavern. Looking for our next excuse to visit. Sally and Dick are wonderful hosts.
The British-born hosts were very welcoming and helpful with touring suggestions. The breakfasts were delicious,served in a room overlooking the mountains.
