Very clearly under renovation. The heating / cooling unit in our room was not working but we were all settled and too tired to move so we just opened the windows and slept like that. Not unpleasant but not what we were hoping for. Entire hotel smells musty. Hope the renovations go well because the staff is lovely.

This best western was under construction yet they still took reservations. I never leave reviews, but since it was such a bad experience I feel compelled. To even enter the doorway on our wing, we had to dodge various construction materials (old tubs, shower doors, sheet rock etc) that lined the hallway and propped the door open all night. The carpet was being ripped up to be replaced so we tripped on the loose material. The room was dated and dirty with dust and grime from all the construction. We all left sick from breathing in the dirt. Maybe this will eventually be nice, but they shouldn’t accept money/reservations while under this amount of construction

A good visit

The hotel was a no frills place, but it was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The close proximity to Mt. Washington was what we were looking for, and we definitely got that!

We've stayed here many times, but the value isn’t what it used to be and there was no advisory that much of the building is under construction. Dust everywhere. The breakfast is not worth it. Won't return unless the value improves.

Room was ok for some reason not sure why but our bed was not made on a daily basis only towels and washcloths replaced and trash emptied. Remodeling going on our last morning near our room was a bit noisy glad we were leaving. Location was ok close to highways.

I don't mind 'excusing appearances' while undegoin construction, but pulled up carpet and debris (not to mention beer bottles) at the entrance to the only elevator is unacceptable. These were unsafe. In addition there was an empty alcohol container left in our room by a previous occupant and spiders on the bed. Unacceptable. I have pictures.
