Our family had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Point Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful- clean, well stocked and had everything we needed including a beautiful Christmas tree. The property manager, Emily, was so helpful! I would definitely recommend the Sherwood Point Lodge and am looking forward to our next stay.

Great Location. Watch out for hidden fees.

Too many hidden fees that if I had known or realized sooner, I would not have booked. Advertises 16 people but any individual over 8 adds an extra 30 per person daily fee. Advertises dog friendly but you have to pay 50/day. Thought we booked a house for 9k for 5 nights and it was 12k after fees, taxes etc. To be fair, these fees were probably disclosed but by the time I realized it we could no longer cancel. House is definitely nice and location is ideal but in general the house is a little run down. Pool table balls chipped, espresso maker broken, paddle boards leaked, poor quality pots and pans. All small things but by the end of trip the common joke when looking for something was as "I bet they have it but its broken." We still had a great time. Check in and communication was perfect. Caught off guard by all the extra fees.

50th anniversary

Issues: doors stick, need dishwasher updated (sound bad, takes too long), goofy bathroom towel hook on main floor, refrigerators and stove top could be cleaner (see photo), sink light bulb under cupboard. Other burned out light bulbs. I don't want to sound too critical, but you asked so I'm trying to help. The place was beautiful.

This was the perfect place for our extended family gathering of 13 people. The elevated view of Sturgeon Bay was amazing. We enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit and exploring the water using the kayaks and paddleboards. We also used the bikes in the activity shed to roam the neighborhood.

Really beautiful house in an amazing location! We loved the kayaks and SUPs and the bonfire ring. Inside, the house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only improvement needed is in the kitchen - not enough of the right cooking and eating utensils. But otherwise everything was great!

Great Cabin and Views!

The views and cabin itself were GREAT! One of the best places we have stayed that fit everyone comfortably. Weather was nice enough we had a fire outside the first night. This VRBO was the first one we stayed at that had EVERYTHING. Bathroom had shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Kitchen had everything including crock pots (we brought our own), seasonings, blenders etc. We have been to past VRBOs that have bare min pots and pans and nothing extra. Since we were there for a few days in winter, we were not able to test out all the amenities they offered but we would book again!

Great weekend to revive and rest!

A group of 13 friends got together for a girls weekend and it was spectacular! Aside from the mayfly hatch being outdoors was glorious! We would book this property again for sure!

Ice Fishing Perfect Spot

The Idlewild cabin is a perfect and well stocked cabin for an Ice Fishing Trip to the Little Sturgeon Bay area. The game room was a nice added bonus to the weekend. The shuffle board table is in good condition. The pool table just needs a new cue ball. Otherwise the cabin was comfy and the perfect location to the area.

Our stay here was incredible! The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for our group. The serene lake views and nearby activities made it the ideal getaway. The host was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and peaceful

Beautiful view and home, we can't wait to return in the summer when we can utilize the kayaks! The ladybug friends in the house were not welcome but I can imagine it's difficult to be bug free when located in the woods. Loved the different coffee options! Sad the espresso machine in the wall was out of order. Lots of kitchenware which is a plus in rentals! Lots of parking which was awesome for our group of 12 ladies. Overall great experience!

Excellent rental: Breath taking views of the bay ! gorgeous and unmatched by any other rental ( i have coming up to fall in DC for over 50 Years! ). Completely stocked with everything we could have wanted/ needed. We will Def be back !! PS Don’t miss the local pub ( 5 minute walk from the place)- great to grab a stein of Leinenkugel with the locals and walk home👍):

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful and big. It was roomy and had everything we had expected. The reasons for the 2 stars for cleanliness is there were a lot of ants, gnats and flies in the kitchen and dining areas. While standing in the kitchen ants crawled on me, and while eating at the table too. We had to serve and eat food while shooing them. In the kitchen food prep area is a blue light bug catcher that was full. While I chose to vacuum the kitchen area, I noticed the crevices were filled with crumbs and debris. Very dusty furniture, sills, and the walls. The TV has spray all over it! The towel bar in lower bathroom is broken off the wall and propped on the screws. There was an extremely large web and huge wolf spider next to the garbage can,, had it been cleaned it wouldn’t have been there since there were other guests there just hours before. Door knobs had crustiness from dirty fingers on some of them. Not sure how often the owners see this property but their cleaners need to do better with their cleaning. There was some paper bowls and some other garbage on the property that appears to have been there for awhile. Disappointing but this is otherwise a gorgeous house to stay at, and the view really is beautiful.

Beautiful, picturesque and serene

Beautiful cabin on Sturgeon Bay was the perfect place for 8 siblings to reconnect. From enjoying the sunrise, fishing, touring the area and nightly campfires. We highly recommend considering for your next family vacation.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful house! The view is incredible! We enjoyed time with the kayaks and paddle boards. The kids also enjoyed the games in the basement area! Beds were comfy, house was stocked with everything we could have needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful location and water view. A bedroom for each of us. Wonderful fire pit area . Incredible star gazing. Close to Potowatomi State Park. Eagles. Warblers. Fishing. Biking. Family pool tournament. Morning coffee on the enormous porch. So glad we chose this place!
