My waterfront views were amazing, there’s nothing like a whirlpool in the bedroom, the bed was comfy and my overall take was that the place was very nice. Communication from the property regarding construction was zero. Workers started on the floor above my room at 6am one day and I was given no warning about it. Check-in communication, however, was wonderful. The front desk actually called me personally to make sure I’d be there before she left. (Thanks Mary!) Also, if you’re looking for a fully stocked kitchen, this isn’t it. It’s minimally stocked with one pot, one pan, enough silverware and dishes for about four people, a coffee pot... but if you intend to bake or cook bigger meals, you’ll need to supply your own cookware. I adjusted but I was surprised given the description. Overall, if you’re looking for a great view, a friendly staff and something a step up from a typical hotel...the Bridgeport is a nice place to stay. I would definitely stay here again just with different expectations.
We loved the view, kids loved both indoor and outdoor pools. Definitely staying here again we were not disappointed.
