The bedrooms were excellent, clean tidy and plenty drinking facilities etc. however the electric kettle was not working properly, I did report this however the issue was not addressed.

Some Marstons are not where they need to be and need money spending on them, this one like a few others I have stayed in was relatively new and strips out all round, the food was excellent.

Stay was okay. Hotel is definitely well worn. We had multiple issues with the toilet, it was suggested it was because we were not from the UK, but we have both traveled out of the county and have not had issue with the toilets. The bathroom in general was in need of some repair, towel bar broken, toilet seat ill fitting. We were booked into an accessible room and we did not need it, the bathroom is basically a wet room, which was a challenge. We asked for a different room but there wasn’t one available. We attempted to contact the front desk by phone several times, there was no answer. When we went to the front desk, we were given prompt service, which was appreciated. It’s okay for a quick stay.

A comfortable stay. Some wall damage in the room was in need of repair. Access to the check-in point is awkward. You have to walk through dining patrons of the restaurant to check in. Don't bring in your luggage--the hotel part is across the drive and it is unattended. That seems odd but it was otherwise a great place. Great restaurant!
