We have stayed here several times- The staff has always been very nice and helpful.. The room was clean. The hotel is so convenient to the campus, we walk everywhere- only suggestion, do not stay in room 325, it is right below the bar, very loud, moving chairs etc around.

Shameful price gouging during OSU family weekend.

The hotel entrance and waiting are were nice. You could tell it had been updated. The rooms were older but clean. Bedding was nice. Shower drain was not draining properly and back up while trying to shower. Room was a $200 a night, 3 star room but, we paid over $400 during OSU family weekend. All hotels were price gouging in a terrible way! Shameful and disgraceful in my opinion. We aren’t a wealthy family and could only afford to stay one night making it impossible to attend the whole weekend of events.

It was clean enough. Located centerally. NOTHING WORKED. hot tub hasnt worked in years according to staff. Bad smell in the room. Advertised room service in the room. Staff had no idea what i was talking about when i mentioned it. No toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. Had only 2 tissues in a box. Was like that for two days. Remote did not work. They were not equipped with batteries to put in it. Elevator starts with a huge jerk. The pool, which was operational, looked like it had not seen service in a month. There was a sheen of bugs or lint floating on top. Front desk clerk had homemade neck tattoos and was frequently not at her post because she was out back smoking. Stayed two nights and never once even seen a housekeeping cart much less got service to the room. Alright place to stay if you are not interested in a lot of the amenities they advertise. Just dont charge the same price as higher end hotels in the area if all your stuff is broken and lacking. I mean come on, you dont even have batteries for the remotes or toilet paper?

This happens even at 5 star hotels though

Hot tub was not available the last time I stayed here and was hopeful it would be ready this time and it was not. The bathroom floors were visibly unswept and counters were not cleaned and breakfast was cold. We also spotted a couple tiny roaches on the breakfast counter the last day and bypassed breakfast that day. The coffee machine was great and the waffle irons were perfect. Ive stayed at worse so I never raise a ruckus but yeah…cant win them all I guess.

shower knob broken had a choice of cold water or scalding hot water. adjustment to try to get something in between resulted in no water flowing. lobby bathroom strong detergent made be sneeze really hard and gave me an asthma attack

Once we ended up in a room it was great. First room they sent us to the A/C was being worked on. Went back to the lobby for another room. Second room was not fully cleaned. Went back to the lobby. Third room was finally appropriate. That room was exactly what we expected! Clean and comfortable!
