While the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information.
There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).
I did book through a third partyāExpediaāas I typically do since I use apps such as these to look through all properties to see what is available in areas I am not familiar with. I am aware that self-catering facilities such as Air Bnb and VRBO are represented on these sites, but this being an inn, I did not equate it with one of those. However, it is. There is no staff on the property as far as I could tell. Therefore, I left no rating for staff and services. There is no one to greet you or get you additional towels, blankets, etc. there is no breakfast, though there is an area where you can make coffee and tea and access some snacks.
While these things are not expected at a self-catering facility, there was nothing to suggest this āinnā was such.
Bottom line, our stay was very nice. The property is quite lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The home is beautifully restored and appointed (thereās even a pool table and lovely porch with swing). In my opinion, more information should be provided before booking.
