We checked out after the first night and requested a refund for the second night which we did not stay.The front desk at the Red Carpet Inn said that they could not refund it because we paid online and not through them.They said that if we contacted Expedia, that they would verify we did not stay the second night and Expedia could then effectuate a full refund for the second night.

I read so many negative reviews that I almost cancelled the reservation. I got there after 2.00am so outside was completely empty. The elderly gentleman at front desk was courteous, just doing his job. He checked me in quickly. - l went upstairs to the room and it was clean with towels and soap, and I didn’t see bedbugs or anything crawling around, like l’d read online. - l woke up 3 hours later to the chirping of birds ( read about that online) l tried but couldn’t get back to sleep. So l decided to do a little workout in my room. 35 min later l was feeling great and full of energy. - Because of the online breakfast reviews l decided to take some oatmeal, an apple and milk. I cut up the apple into the oatmeal, popped it in the microwave, and added the milk. It was a hearty breakfast for me. -The price was pretty good for a one-night stay and a few hours of sleep. I had an appointment so l had to get out around 9am. On Expedia l skipped past reservations for $300, $ 400, etc. b4 l found this. The hot water worked fine, the shower stall was good. -At 2.00am outside was quiet and empty. -It serves the purpose if you just need a quick stay and a place to put your weary head; and save your money. CONS: maybe the area at the top of the stairs was stained and dirty, or just old.
