The house is absolutely stunning. We originally booked it for a wedding, expecting just a standard rental, but it turned into a true vacation. The secluded setting and outdoor amenities completely exceeded our expectations.This is by far the most beautiful and peaceful place I’ve ever stayed outside of the Caribbean and easily the best rental experience we’ve ever had. The home’s architecture and design are gorgeous, and the owner clearly has impeccable taste and attention to detail.The outdoor features are incredible: a freestanding tub overlooking the lake, a sauna, and a cold plunge that left us both relaxed and energized. The beds and linens were luxurious and so comfortable. On cooler nights, the outdoor fireplace made for the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine.We swam in the lake several times—the water was clean and warm, and the swimming platform and deck made it even better. Paddleboards and bikes were also available to rent, which we didn't realize, but would recommend to others. Overall, this was the best stay we’ve ever had through VRBO or anywhere, honestly. I’m already planning to return next summer for a longer visit. If I could, I’d have the owner design my own home. Truly unforgettable!

Lovely!

Our stay the end of May was wonderful! Excellent communication from host for our arrival and time there. Great weather let us enjoy the beautiful lakefront including wading in the water at the small sandy beach, plus sitting on the dock with morning coffee as the sun came up. Every meal we ate outside after using the fully equipped kitchen. The property is close to 84, restaurants and stores yet quite private and tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Amazing views from the minute you arrive! A comfortable, clean property. Enjoyable upgrades inside and out. We’d love to return! Thank you!

Spa Retreat

My daughter and I had a fabulous spa retreat at this house! The lake is stunning from the house and beautiful trails are right outside. Luxury showers, tub, and sauna and cold lake plunge were wonderful. Heated floors, two fireplaces, everything perfectly clean and owner was so nice and easy to contact about any questions. Would love to come back in swimming weather:)

Convenient seclusion

This modern style lake house offered seclusion from the hectic city while having all of the city conveniences just minutes away. Sunrises over the lake and the cosy fires in the evening may have been our favorite features. We will be back! PS-For those who need to sneak in a little work, the office space was a wonderful plus.

Spectacular Getaway

My sister and I had a little getaway at this stunning lake house, and enjoyed it immensely. The host was very communicative and helpful both before and during our visit. The house is nestled in a woodsy area with a gorgeous lake view that feels like you're the only people there, with lots of options for sitting outside and taking it all in. Inside it's large and clean, with a handsome stone and wood aesthetic. We particularly enjoyed the gas fireplaces for both warmth and ambiance. Note that if you have mobility issues, the bedroom is downstairs and the bed is very low. But for us it was a great fit and we loved it. Nearby Sturbridge has restaurants and shopping. We already are talking about going back! Thank you so much!

Romantic getaway

The home is immaculate with high end appliances and stylish furniture, lots of unique Japanese finishing touches. Perfect for a relaxing getaway for my husband and me. Very spacious for 2 adults. Not really kid friendly so glad to have left them behind (per the description). Although it’s very spacious, it wouldn’t work well for more than a couple if you want to enjoy the luxurious feel of the home. The views of the lake were beautiful and we loved our breakfasts lake gazing. We would love to return.
