This place was amazing! If you are looking for a comfortable place, close to all the amenities while still feeling like you are tucked into a neighborhood, this is the place you should choose! The house is very well equipped from the kitchen to bikes and extra tp!

A very lovely home.

My children and I stayed here for over a week. It’s such a cute cozy little sanctuary. It’s tucked away lots of plants. It was very clean and we loved every moment of staying there. Also, the owners are so kind. They were eager to help with anything that I needed and I would definitely love to stay at this property again and recommended to my friends and family.

Great place

Pictures dont do justice how calm and relaxing this hideaway is. Just a few steps from the ocean, and very scenic area. Take advantage of the bikes and ride up the trail to good food and several breweries.

Fantastic!

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Great decor, well stocked kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. The screened in porch is a highlight for sure! Everything was perfect and in impeccable condition. We couldn’t have been happier. If there was any one thing I would add would be to install a large wall mount oscillating fan or two to the screened porch. The ceiling fans just don’t move the air enough. I bought a fan for my stay and gave it to some friends. We will be staying again for sure. Great property! Loved it!!

Loved this house from the moment we drove up. How adorable. Loved the location and the close knit community. House was decorated so cute with all the lights. Perfect for the two of us. Nice and relaxing. Short walk to the beach. Would love to come back.

Better than we had hoped.

Super cozy bungalow with a fabulous back porch. No complaints, a few suggestions. 1) Please provide a grill, the local restaurants are great but still fun to grill and hang out as a family. 2) Please provide plates and silverware for 8, we only had 4 staying but wanted to have friends over. 3) We loved the bikes but the chains just wouldn’t stay on for us. 4) A little more lighting on the back screened in porch would be great. 5) We have 13 and 16 year old boys who are both 6 feet+. No chance they would share a bed, would really like a couch you could throw a sheet on and sleep. Overall, a wonderful stay. TY.

Lovely Little Cottage

I had a stay booked for four nights, but unfortunately had to evacuate after the first night due to Hurricane Ian. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed inside, and communication with the owners was very good. I hope I can return for a longer stay in the future.

Beautiful Beach Home Close to Everything

Such a lovely, inviting, and wonderful beach home! Thank you for sharing Escondido with my family. The atmosphere was relaxing and magical. The sunrise beach walks and sunset bike rides were amazing and the back yard oasis was absolutely beautiful! We were close enough to Clearwater, Edgewater and Maderia Beaches to visit during the day and explore, but just far enough away to feel like at night we were going home to our own little private beach retreat. The home was spacious enough for all four of us, was meticulously cleaned and decorated beautifully. It had all the amenities to provide for a comfortable stay and felt like we were welcomed into someones home. We would love to come back again soon! You have such a hidden gem! Thank you again!

Beautiful house

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. It was really close to the ocean and to bicycle trails. It was close to Honeymoon Island which is a must see in this area. The house was really cozy with a nice patio and backyard yard. We highly recommend this place!

An amazing place tucked away from everything

This is such a cute hideaway that is spotless and well maintained. It is tucked away (literally) in a quiet neighborhood. If you want a quiet place to relax you’ve found it. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure you will enjoy your time at Escondido.
