When my wife and I arrived at this hotel there was a sign at the front desk which said there was no hot water. The front desk person did confirm that this was the case, and even though she told us that it has been an ongoing problem, nobody had notified us about this issue prior to our arrival. We weren’t even offered an apology for this inconvenience. This meant we were put in a situation where we had to ask for a refund and look for a different hotel to stay, after having travelled for 9 hours including ubers and a flight from California. If they have been having ongoing issues with the hot water, we should have at least been notified and given the opportunity to book another stay instead. We ended up having to take yet another uber, and spending money and time doing that, rather than already being in a hotel room. We were also told by the front desk staff that nobody was even going to be coming to try to fix the issue until the following day and that they weren’t very hopeful that it would in fact be fixed. This really put us in a position that my wife and I should not have been put in. We are loyal Expedia users and feel this was not handled professionally by the property.
