Relax in this “Key West” style 1BR guest house in Pass-A-Grille, less than two blocks from the beach! This first-floor cottage offers a full kitchen, laundry, private fenced patio, and beach essentials—towels, chairs, umbrella, and buggy. Walk to shops, dining, and enjoy true island living!

The space
Throw on your flip-flops and unwind in this peaceful, dog-friendly coastal retreat! From your assigned parking space, stroll through a private backyard to your charming cottage apartment. Inside, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, comfy living area with a pullout sofa, and a cozy queen bedroom.

Behind the cottage, a shared laundry room with washer and dryer makes longer stays easy. We also provide beach essentials—towels, chairs, cart, and umbrella—so you’re always ready for a beach day!

This apartment sits on the same property as the main home and an upstairs unit. If you’re planning a family stay or group getaway, contact us about booking all three spaces together for the perfect Pass-A-Grille experience.

Guest access
Guests have full and private access to the downstairs apartment of the guest house (there are two apartments with separate outdoor entrances).
Guests also have shared access to a storage/laundry room with beach equipment, which is shared with the upstairs apartment.
- No smoking inside the cottage, though you may smoke outside
- It is asked that you are respectful of owners, nearby neighbors, and other cottage guests by being reasonably quiet from 10pm-8am
- No parties or loud music and no illicit drugs will be used on the premises including recreational marijuana.
- Linens are provided, as well as a starting supply of essentials such as toilet paper and paper towels. Additional supply must be purchased by guests.
-Cleaners will clean the unit upon checkout, however we as that guests do the dishes and take out the trash before leaving, this prevents unwanted pests and odors.
- Guests are responsible for removing all personal belongings upon check-out. We cannot be held liable for any items left behind.
- We are a dog friendly property, 1 dog maximum and there is a non refundable fee of $100. Advance notice is required if you are bringing a dog. Dogs must be friendly and get along with other animals, on leash when outside, you will be charged in addition to the pet fee for any damage to the condo or furnishings and it is expected that you will pick up your pets waste. Also please note there is a dog beach in Pass-a-Grille but dogs are not allowed on the main beaches.
For entertainment, guests can expect to find TVs. Other amenities include kitchens, washing machines, and sofa beds.

Place was excellent, great location, very modern and updated. Just a few moments walk to Pass-a-Grille Beach on the gulf side, a bit of a walk to the dog beach. We never needed the car for the 3 days we were there. Modern appliances, and everything needed for our stay, including a nice laundry. Great beach stuff, including a beach buggy for hauling chairs, umbrellas, cooler and etc. We and the dog loved the outside fenced area! Communicative host even over the Christmas Holidays.

Great place. Clean and comfortable. Parking was a little tight. If we had been in my husband’s truck it would not have fit. The only thing that was bothersome was at night we could hear every move of the whoever was in the unit upstairs. Overall it was a great stay.

Perfect little stay at the Beach

Great little cottage a few blocks to beach and one block to intercoastal with a super cute back yard area to use, a full kitchen and all the amenaties you could ever need. Also bonus that it was even cuter and more updated than the listing photos showed.The only suggestion I would have is to replace the pull out bed mattress as it was very uncomfortable so if you need more than one bed keep this in mind. I was relocating to St. Petersburg the weekend of 4th of July & needed a place for days before my longer term rental was ready. I had quite a bit of stuff due to relocating so I had a bigger SUV and missed where it said that the parking spot could only fit a standard size car. I was unable to fit in the spot and panicked and called the emergency number to see if they had any ideas of where I could pay to park nearby and got no answer, so I text the number and also messaged thru VRBO. I got scolded for texting and my responses thereafter were not friendly. Unfortunately I felt like after that it set a not so friendly tone from that point forward which made me feel a little uncomfortable for the duration of my stay. They did find a solution for me to park in the lot behind but it seemed to really make her mad. Moral of the story, make sure you have a standard car if you are staying here. Regardless,I was grateful to have found a cute, comfortable, Pet friendly place to start my new chapter in St. Pete. I took a few pictures when I checked out so I am sharing here!

Perfect stay

This property is even better in person than it is in pictures. It’s a perfect location to walk to the beach. It is well appointed with everything you might need and then some! Pleasantly surprised to find quality kitchen items, easy to access laundry, beach supplies, and bikes. The little fenced in yard is private and lovely. There is a place to hose off after the beach and shady place to relax. The beds are comfortable, even the foldout. It’s very quiet and low key, but close enough to all the fun.

Girls Trip South

With my daughter just accepted to college next year, our trip to Florida was a welcome escape to sun and sand. We were thoroughly pleased with every step of the process...booking...arrival and check in...everything. The lodging was clean, and of perfect size. The bicycles provided all the transportation we needed. We loved the convenience of everything and found great restaurants like Paradise Grill and the Wharf. Our "transportation specialist" Bob set the table for us perfectly with useful local tips and a large dose of friendliness. We would recommend this place to any of our friends looking in that direction for a vacation in the sun. Thanks to our hostess for being so responsive to any questions we had. Fantastic service ! Great memories just made !

Spring Break

We have been staying on Pass-A-Grille for almost 10 years now. We have stayed at many hotels, condos, and VRBO. Location was perfect. We enjoyed the outdoor dining space. We did miss a good view of the water, but It didn't take more than a few minutes to get to the beach. The one thing we did appreciate was the kitchen. It was well stocked with hand towels, dish towels, blender, coffee maker, soap, paper towels, and more! And they provided beach chairs and beach towels. Very nice place.

Pass-A-Grille Gem

The perfect stay for us and our dogs during a trip for the Thanksgiving holiday. As a former local, this is in the perfect location to walk to the beach and shops on the island. The cottage is as described in photos and even bigger than the pictures let on. Was very clean and stocked with essential supplies, and parking was a little narrow just getting in and out but got our Jeep in and out just fine. Would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic Little Slice of Heaven

This place is better than the pictures suggest! Such a cute little back yard area for the dog, or for storing all the sandy beach stuff. The inside is bigger than the pictures make it seem as well, plenty of room for making meals, or just hanging out. Super close to everything, walk to breakfast, dinner, the bar, anything you want! The Pass-a-Grille area is the perfect little beach town, just far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to bigger cities/beaches if you prefer. Will definitely be coming back to this place when we visit again! :)

This is a must-stay. Our place was beautiful and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and close to everything. Only 1 block (an easy walk) to the beautiful white sand blue water at St Pete Beach. The Property Manager was so helpful. We definitely recommend this great place!

Fantastic place. Even better than the description. Perfect for a couple with a couple of little dogs. Own private courtyard, beautiful, modern, clean ...with designated parking spot...and steps the beach, a dog park and restaurants. The place even has plenty of WORKING beach gear ...including a wagon,umbrella(s) plenty of beach chairs, toys, a cooler, floaty things...you name it. There are also 4 bikes ( and 2 helmets)...and a kayak for guest use. Pass- a-Grille is just charming too...soft sand beaches and beautiful clear turquoise gulf water. Per my husband, his favorite beach so far...and we've been to many ! Per Andy, ' rom-com' perfect ! Our advice, book it now !
