It was exactly what we were looking for. I am from Newfoundland so I wanted to be reminded of my house when I was growing up. The house was exactly that. It is a very short walk from downtown which was fantastic.It was everything we thought it would be and we would definitely stay there again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is exactly as listed and cozy. You’re close to many restaurants and stores and a short drive to The Rooms and Quidi Vidi. Also highly recommend going to Stella’s Brasserie! One of the best meals we’ve ever had. If you have any concerns about parking, don’t, it was easy and right out front. Would definitely stay here again!

The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. Checking in was quick and easy. The property could use a deep clean. Not enough storage for clothing, no dressers or place to put suitcases other than the floor.

Clean, well equipped kitchen . Comfortable bedrooms. Street parking was no problem with parking pass provided. Four of us had spent a week birding on the Avalon and Bonavista Peninsulas. This was a great location for a quick look at St John’s to finish up our trip. Easy walking distance to downtown.

Convenient and lovely stay in St John’s

The first thing that I noticed when we made the booking was how responsive the owner is. She answered any questions and was very kind and thoughtful before we even arrived to the property. We found the house easily, it’s in a great location in downtown St. John’s, and easily accessed the house. The house is centrally located to walk where you want to go. The few places we wanted to see that were out of town Catherine helped us to arrange and even gave some great recommendations of things to see and where to eat. Was great having a full kitchen and separate floors for hanging out and for sleeping. Would absolutely stay here again!

One week stay in the St John’s area

We liked that the property was close to downtown and easy walking distance. Unfortunately the upstairs rooms were very hot and stuffy - the bathroom window and one bedroom window struggled to open or stay open so there wasn’t a breeze in the house. We used books to prop the window open the best we could. There were fans but it was just blowing the warm air around.
