The area and house were beautiful! The location was beautiful. We had everything we needed. The only thing is we didn’t know how to use a gas stove and I didn’t see any directions. The microwave was different and needed a direction guide also. It took us two days to figure it out. The house needs some kind of heat it got very cold being so big . Those are suggestions. Otherwise it was beautiful and we would stay again

The house was great for our large family. It was close to the beach and was in a great neighborhood. Parking was a tad tight, but we made it all work. There are a lot of stairs in the house, so just be aware of that.

Location is perfect. The perfect distance between St. Augustine and Sawgrass. Property is in great condition. Linens and towels provided as well as a washer and dryer is a must for us. ROKU tvs with great internet. Master bed was confortable. Master bath with the jettes tub came in handy.

LOVED IT!

The house was in a great location. The house was spacious, well stocked, and perfect for our family! We loved the basement floor with the pool table. The view from the master bedroom was beautiful. We drove a mile or so to the public beach access. There was one a little closer, but we chose the other beach access. Highly recommend Caps on the River which is about a mile from the house. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

Awesome house, great find!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tucker's Hideaway! What a very cool house!! We really appreciated the extra amenities having flown in - there were paddleboards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and extra beach towels! The walk to the beach is tricky toting all the beach stuff, but we found it was such a short drive to get down to either of the public beaches nearby that was much easier. My family had a blast hanging on the various deck levels & playing pool at night. Gorgeous open floor plan and we loved the huge windows & vaulted ceiling! The management/owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had & so kind to work with. Thanks for this great find!

Our stay was comfortable. Plenty of space for entire family. A little more attention to details is my recommendation to make it a great customer experience. Quiet neighborhood walk to beach and close to attractions.

Beautiful home in a great location!!

Perfect family get away!!Absolutely wonderful home a short walk to the beach and just a short ride to all St Augustine has to offer!!Grocery store and restaurants close by and did I mention the beach. Keep your eyes open for shark teeth, we spent a couple hours on the beach and found 20-25 shark teeth. Beautiful home in a great location!!!

Close but not close

Clean and nice property. Pictures on site need updated Beach access is a mile away, anything close had no trespassing signs by the owners of the properties right on the beach.

Overall, great time but…

We made memories at this rental and overall, enjoyed our stay and the property! There were a few things that deterred us from giving a complete 5-star review - the beach access. We found it hard to get to the beach unless we all packed into a car and went to a public park with beach access. The bugs - there were bugs everywhere. In the vents (specifically in the master closet - a dead spider) and around the baths, in the kitchen. I know Florida bugs but this was a bit more than what we’ve experienced before. One morning, after using the coffee pot the prior day, we were making a fresh pot and found a brown recluse in the pot. It was traumatizing and also made us aware that more may be present throughout the house than expected. Great place yet questionable bugs.

Great family stay

Beach access

The house was beautiful, clean, check in was very easy, and came with extras if you needed it. Such as boogie boards, extra sheets and blankets, and had so much extra bedding available if everyone wanted to space out. The only downfall we had is the description says it is a short walk to the beach. It is much further walking there than we anticipated. It would be much more accommodating if there was an easier beach access across the street especially when having small children. All in all our experience was good except having no beach access.

Gorgeous home with a couple hiccups

Tucker’s Hideaway is a gorgeous home and truly tucked away amongst trees. The large windows gave way to beautiful views of the night sky and the master bedroom has a spectacular view of the lighthouse beam. Lots of towels and the house is fully stocked for cooking needs as far as pans/plates, etc. Problem was almost every dish/cup/pan, etc. We got out to use was absolutely filthy. Literally coffee in the coffee cups. Food on plates and on pans. Food particles in silverware drawer. Toys, chairs and umbrella provided in garage for beach. Close to Publix and Surfside Pizza.

Great House

The house was in very good shape and we really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that the walk to an accessible beach was a little further than we thought. Other than that, the house was lovely and we really enjoyed our time there.

Treetop Hideaway

The open living/dinning area was great for visiting with people. The basement/pool-table area was great to relax in. The tall tree-line gave a secluded feel to the property. Only issue we had was they didn’t have any trash bags and the house was showing a little age. Small things like rust that don’t show in photos. The large garage and parking area was fantastic, the furniture was comfortable and the location is great.
