We enjoyed our stay here. Located just 7 min drive from the fort where we parked and explored. Also found several restaurants in a walking distance. We stayed with kids and loved hot tub and pool after a day of sightseeing. Place was super clean and stuff was nice. I loved the coffee machine in the lobby. The only thing I wish breakfast had more options like sausage, pastry or fruit for those who don’t like eggs and cereal

Elevator was broken day of arrival with no sign warning of the issue, one of our girls was stuck in there for a few mins while they had to manually open the door. The AC in our room was also not working properly and was very hot our first night, maintenance did seem to fix the issue. VERY limited breakfast options compared to other comparable hotels. Other than that, the hotel was clean and convenient to all attractions, staff was helpful.

We like the location more distant from the congested town but close enough to drive there to visit. It quiet and I like the trees there with Spanish Moss. The remodel looks great.
