Amazing views right on the beach!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The views are so amazing out on the back porch. So relaxing & the perfect place to unwind. Communication was great with hosts & the place was clean. Only suggestion for others is bring extra towels, There aren’t enough at house especially for 8 people. Hopefully they will restock soon. Other than that it was great! We will be back for sure.

Priceless views

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this lovely house right on the beach. The views are wonderful. The house is huge. We always arrive to a clean, well-kept, beautiful get-a-way where we hook up with friends. Just love this place.

Found this place online looking for a big enough place to fit my family comfortably and still have privacy and the beach to ourselves and this place delivered spot on it has more than space for my family and is super kids friendly! This place will be my family's forever vacation home.

The perfect location.

This property was the perfect place for a short end of summer getaway. The neighborhood is quiet, the house is gorgeous with plenty of room for the whole family. The best feature of this house is the semi-private beach access shared with the house next door. The one minor issue we had during our stay was handled almost immediately and the owner was always very responsive to texts.

Fantastic beach property!

We had a wonderful stay at Rising Sun. It is in a great location and a short walk over the walkway to the beach. Plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 kids (with several beds to spare!) Highly recommend!

Amazing Beach Property

This place is a gem. It's not hidden, so it's not a hidden gem. But it is awesome. The beach is so close you can almost stick your toes in it from one of the decks. You can see the ocean from the main living area and the massive patio surrounding that area. The views are 10/10. Sunrise or sunset, your beach walk is just steps away. The kitchen is well appointed, and the dining-room table is perfect for large groups. There are plenty of bedrooms and beds so everyone can sleep comfortably. (Do note: one "bedroom" is a little nook (with door) inside the master bedroom. The listing says this. I knew this. But you should too! It might matter for some.) The living room has plenty of sofas and a large TV. I don't know how well the TV works, however, because we never turned it on. Historic St. Augustine is a short drive. Grocery store (Publix), restaurants, and the best Cuban bakery outside of Miami are just a couple miles away. You'll have plenty to do besides the beach, if that's your jam. I would certainly return. This place was wonderful. Our group had the best time. You will too.

Fantastic Beach House

We had a fantastic time and would love to stay here again. The view from the second floor living areas was even nicer than the online pictures. The home was clean and ready for our use when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes. The home's private board walk is a huge plus and made getting to the beach a pleasure. The home managers were quick to respond whenever we had questions. There was plenty of room for two families with kids. And the beach itself is beautiful. We love this area. This was our second stay at a beach house in Butler Beach and plan to return.

Perfect house and location

The house was laid out great for our family. Clean when we arrived and fantastic views of the ocean with great access. Close to everything we needed. Host took care of all small issues quickly. The whole family loved it.

Beachfront Family Fun

The house fit the needs of 2 families with 2 kids each and the grandparents! We had a great time and the walk to the beach was easy for those walking and the drive for the gear haulers was equally as easy!

Most beautiful house in St. Augastine

We stayed here for mother's day weekend, walking in the house it was clean and everything i read about, but nothing prepared me for the view.. WOW.. I live in Miami, and there is no view like this. Drank coffee every morning as the sun came up over the water next to the bay windows. The beach was extremely clean and family oriented. Only a couple of miles from publix, and 10 mins. From the fun stuff in St. Augastine. David was a great host, answering questions right away, he not only cares for his guests and home but wants to make sure his neighbors and wildlife respected. Great family house!

So relaxing and fun!

You cannot go wrong staying this close to this beautiful beach! Our family of 10 did not feel crowded at all. The deck is a wonderful place to sit and hang out together, and the two lower bedrooms with lower deck access were so nice. The outdoor shower was wonderful after swimming in the ocean and to rinse sandy feet. The kitchen was so spacious, we all had room to make coffee, tea or whatever without stepping on each other. We had a great time!

Family reunion

We had a wonderful time at this splendid property. The panoramic windows, huge deck, and spacious living room were ideal. Please read the description of the bedrooms carefully. It is completely accurate. Note the fifth bedroom just has a twin bed. Perfect for our needs. Bring paper products and extra bath towels. The outdoor shower was a treat and just steps away from downstairs bedrooms. We had nine adults and five children ranging from 1 to 11. There was ample space for everyone. We would love to return. The weather was PERFECT during our late April visit.
