We love the location, accessibility to kayaking and everything that comes with being near the beach. For bird watchers, go south to Matanzas Inlet where you’ll see all varieties of birds from ospreys to wood stork.The Point Matanzas community is friendly, quiet and has its own kayak ramp. It’s our happy place!The owner’s are quick to respond to questions and they provide a great place to vacation.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Well worth the money! A hidden gem that we will continue to go to every summer! If you have kids then this is the place to book! The place is Very private! My kids loved swimming in the pool and fishing the most! My oldest caught so many fish! We seen dolphins which was cool and the people that actually live here are so incredibly sweet and helpful!

Location was great! The pool area and dock were great! We brought our boat and stored/launched it right down the road at Devils Elbow. The grounds and buildings (parking lot side) were in need of a little TLC. The place was relatively minimalist - only a single dresser in the master and no dressers in the secondary bedroom (some closetmaid cube shelves in the closet) and lack of towel rods/hooks for hand, bath and beach towels, 1 TV, 1 couch. We loved Point Matanzas and this unit was very suitable but for the and with the minimalist appointments, I would comparison shop other units before making a return visit. Check in/out process and communication with property managers was all good. Hard to beat the location, not many (or any) like this!

Quiet Area.

Prperty was exactly what the decription was. Pool was nice. Beach is within walking distance. The whole area is slow moving and great for a vacation. Only negatives I have is the building smells old and the couch isnt comfortable. I would 100% stay here again. Im possibly looking at buying a place in the same building.

Beautiful spot!

This is a wonderful spot for families and couples alike! It’s very family friendly with lots of stuff to do with kids. The beach, pool, and river are just so fun. The sunsets and dolphins in the river can’t be beat!

The upstairs bathtub backs up and you're standing in water while showering. The upstairs sink should have a stopper which would help with the odor coming up from the trap.

Quiet, Immaculate and Peaceful

We were supposed to be in Western NC when Helene hit so we "pivoted" and decided to stay near St. Augustine instead. Got the booking right away without a problem. The check in and check out guides were very thorough. The host was awesome and answered some basic questions I had about stuff I probably didn't need to ask about. The property is exactly as shown. It is very clean and perfect for people looking for a quiet stay while still having close access to St. Augustine and the surrounding beaches. The sunset over the intercoastal from the backporch and or the pool desk was incredible. Worth a stay if you are considering the area.
