Great hotel, but like the sandals (owned by Birkenstock) can be lacking in detail, small towels no turndown service but classed as 5 star, small menu for supper, lacking in choice but visually a beautiful hotel with some tremendous staff who go over and above to help. Room lovely view over the harbour beautiful but light switches a challenge and safe at ground level difficult if you have knee replacements!

Most rooms in hotels where we pay extra for a view, it’s not worth it — but this time the view was spectacular and made a difference to our stay. Right over the harbor, the lights below were so amazing and beautiful and felt special. We were quite happy with everything: the room was not huge but very clean; the beds were extremely comfortable; the shower was hot; gorgeous view. What’s not to like? I also had one of best massages ever (Anna) for a relatively reasonable rate, I would never have expected that from a hotel spa. The only part that could have been better for us: the gym was quite small and very crowded for such a nice hotel.
