Honestly had the most lovely stay here, staff were so helpful and a bit of craic, food was delicious, rooms really clean and comfy bed. Pool was refreshing 😀! Lovely walk to the old town and really convenient for walking Marjan. Would love to visit again.

Hotel is situated 5 minutes by car from the old town. It was quite difficult to find, but it was worth the effort. The style is not at all modern, but everything was new and clean. We stayed in two large rooms with two bathrooms in each room. Small but nice pool area - with good pool restaurant. Very good breakfast.

From our pickup at airport to our departure this hotel provided excellent service. All staff were very friendly. Hotel room and public areas were very clean. What a fantastic breakfast on offer, including a glass of bubbles. Good shuttle service to the city and not a strenuous walk back if needed. Special mention to waiting breakfast staff, quality service.

Stayed at the Cvita for 4 nights during our recent holiday to Crotia last August, where we used Split as a base to do day trips to nearby places like Zadar, Sibenik, Trogir, Krka and the lovely Plitvice lakes. The rooms at the Cvita are very spacious with lovely sea views. The breakfast is filling with a wide spread of local Croatian delicacies as well as usual continental spread. We did not use the pool but it can be a handy luxury considering hot summers. Being far from the city centre is not a disadvantage at the Cvita, the property offers complimentary shuttle service to the city centre. You can check the schedule uploaded in the pics. Parking is available at the Cvita but driving to the property can be a pain as the approach road is through a narrow uphill road which makes driving tad difficult.

We stayed 4 nights on a B&B basis in a superior room with sea view. The hotel is close to the old town yet feels a million miles away. A free shuttle bus runs to the harbour which is a fantastic service as the walk would be too much for most people as the roads are poor and there are steep hills to climb. Bar and restaurant prices a bit expensive. The positives _ staff are extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts are first class with an amazing variety and some things are cooked to order. Rooms are spotless, as is the whole hotel. Great shuttle bus. The negatives _ the hotel is in a residential area where development is happening. The area around the hotel is not attractive, and the roads horrendous. Rooms to the front are sold as having a sea view, but unless you have a room on a high floor, there is no sea view because of the buildings in front. When we stayed, there seemed to be touring parties visiting who congregated early in the morning outside. Very noisy! Showering without flooding the bathroom was impossible. There is only a hand held shower with fixing low down on the wall and away from the shower screen meaning absolutely no protection. My husband and I tried every method we could think up to have a decent shower but didn't manage. Although there is a kettle in the room, there was no coffee or milk provided, only tea. On a purely aesthetic note, the decor is all over the place. A weird mix of modern and traditional

Very New Hotel - Luxury feel to the rooms - Beautiful Shower area and Bathrooms. Equipped with Kettle, working desk and balcony with sea view in each room. Outdoor Swimming Pool is anice place to hang out - Bar closes at 10.30 so get your drinks in before then. A bit hard from parking lot to the hotel you need a porter which is 1 euro a bag otherwise it's a bit of a walk. Breakfast is very good - A huge variety - Something for everyone - No egg station but hot eggs, baked goods, delicious leg of dried ham, mueslis, coffees, juice and sparkling wine for breakfast. Definitely recommend. Far from everything so stock up if you need things.

The best hotel you have ever stayed at, breakfast and food in general second to none. Staff courteous and very attentive. Cleanliness excellent. Free shuttle to town centre, family run, friendly and very welcoming.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I would recommend paying for a sea-view, our balcony was enormous and the view was lovely. Hotel facilities are good: tv came with Netflix and prime, pool was open 24hours, and there was a variety of food on offer at breakfast. My only criticisms would be that the hot water for the shower always took a long time, and the tea making facilities were limited to a green tea bag and a chamomile tea bag. No milk or coffee provided. I was apprehensive about the location after reading other reviews. It is true that the immediate location is not exactly attractive with some unfinished building projects around. However, you are a 5 minute walk away from the sea and a nice walk into old town. The hotel offer a complimentary shuttle, although the times didn't really suit us. We paid for an uber to and from the airport. Bear in mind that taxis may struggle to get to the door of the hotel- we were dropped at the bottom of some stone steps leading up to it. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend.

Nice new hotel, clean with friendly staff. Very useful free shuttle transport to and from the city. Breakfast was plentiful, made more pleasant by the friendly smile of Jadranka every morning. Will be better when all surrounding building works are completed.

If I could give 4 1/2 I would. Let's start with reasons I didn't. The hotel is very attractive but the immediate area is not. Views to the sea at the front can be blocked by other buildings depending on room you get. At the back is a forest which while not ugly isn't that picturesque. It also sits a way from the seafront a few hundred metres away, uphill. Also the swimming pool while nice is a little small so once the hotel fills up so do the loungers! There were a few other niggles like water going off one day, (but they had bottled water), the kettle leaked, etc etc. Now to the good bits. There is a free minibus down to the harbour really close to Riva Promenade and Diocletian Palace and Old Town area. Split itself is a really great place to visit. The staff were fantastic as well, nothing too much trouble and loads of smiling faces. Breakfast is included and is excellent both hot and cold options, continental plus eggs, bacon and sausages, and also cake and even Cava. Not included and not advertised too well was the quality of the food overall. Evening meals were absolutely fantastic! 6 nights we stayed 3 meals taken in the hotel. Fresh fish, seafood, beef, lamb chops, burgers all lovely. In fact we commended the Chef. It could do with more choice, maybe a Chef's special? The rooms were big and spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable, and being at the back we didn't hear any noise. Overall we had a superb time, (love Croatians), and we absolutely recommend the Cvita.
