This home was extremely clean and inviting upon our arrival. There were enough beds for our family of five, with plenty of space in each bedroom. The upstairs bathroom appears to be recently remodeled. It was very functional and beautiful. The hottub fit all 5 of us and was perfect at the end of everyday. Walking to the beach took about 10 minutes, which was fantastic because parking fills up fast downtown or by the beach.

Old frame house, extensively renovated. 2 flights up to 3 upstairs bedrooms, stairway very dark at night. Outstandingly equipped modern large kitchen.Enclosed sun porch, no deck but private grassy backyard. Outstanding location, short walk to beach and town.

Sisters Trip

Beautifully remodeled quaint home. Walking distance to town. Quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Backyard could have been more kept up. Needed mowed and weeded.

Family getaway

Nice location. Walking distance to downtown which is nice because it is hard to find parking. Walking distance to the beach. Very short drive to several other beaches. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed the three seasons room for playing games during the day.

Lovely Property!

We loved this property. Lots to do around the house and short walks to both town and the beach. Lots of large trees make the back yard perfect even on hot days. We look forward to staying here again!

It was the best. Easy walks to the beach or downtown. The hot tub. The yard. The well stocked kitchen. Hard to leave is an understatement.

First some of the positives - Responsive host, lots of paper products, paper towels, napkins etc.,soap, antibacterial gel, dishsoap, dishwasher pods, foil, baggies, tp and even kleenix provided. TP was decent quality for rental. Plenty of beach toys, games, cards etc availble. Was walking distance to some places but not as close as we expected. We should have paid better attention to that and that is on us. Ravine behind house was cool and offered close up viewing of deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels (even a black one) and plenty of birds. Negatives - Hot tub was dirty (DID NOT USE AS A RESULT).House was not very clean. Dusty under things, microvave handle was disguisting, and plenty of other areas that had clearly been overlooked by cleaning staff. Beds were uncomfortable, and noisy. Need new mattresses. Bathroom towels and washcloths were extremely low quality. Scratchy even. With new mattresses and towels we would consider renting this property again. But would hope it would be cleaner next time.

Lovely vacation!

My teacher friends and I stayed here and it was exactly what we needed! It was clean, matched the listing on VRBO, communication with Jim was smooth and answered all my questions leading up to our trip. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place, great location.

The owners communicated very well. The house was very clean, my family enjoyed the place very much. The location was great youre within five mins of the beach, shops, Walmart, and several restaurants. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful week in South Haven

We (2 adults and 2 children-8 and 3) spent a wonderful week in South Haven in August. It was our 6th summer week in South Haven, but 1st at this home. It work perfect for our family. Each kid had their own room and the rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space to prepare meals. The ping pong table in the basement got used daily in the afternoons or evenings. Such fun! The hot tub was also a wonderful spot to relax in the evenings. We grilled a couple meals, but didn't have time to use the fire pit. The house was in a great location, we walked about 4 blocks to the farmer's market on Saturday morning. Such nice produce! We also walked to the beach, that seemed like a long walk but we also had a lot of beach stuff and it was so hot that day. It was also only about 4 blocks to the beach and the kids corner park. Perfect spot for watching sunsets! The house was also close to the bike path and we biked down to Van Buern state park one day. Over all we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great location. Hopefully we will be back again!

Enjoyable stay in South Haven

The home was clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was a hit. It is a 10 min walk to downtown or to the shoreline to watch the sunset. The little exercise was good after all the eating we did. The backyard is private and this area is quieter than being closer to the beach. It was ideal for some fun time with the family. The kitchen is very well equipped. The 3 large smart TVs in the home worked out well.

Comfortable, relaxing getaway

This house was exactly as described and gave us a comfortable place for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub in the backyard. It was walkable to the beach and playground.

Great home away from home

This home was perfect for our family. It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The toy cabinet and the game room were a hit with our 9 and 10yr old and the twenty-something children too. The young ones loved the craft set that was left for them to play with. Very thoughtful! We hardly took our cars out while in South Haven because almost everything there is to do, was a pleasant walk away. I highly recomend this rental.

Awesome Roomy Place

This was a great stay. The hot tub was well-maintained & great fun. The basement ping pong table was rainy day fun. There was plenty of room for our large family & the signage answered any questions we had on cottage equipment & protocol. It’s a hike to the lake & town but still walkable. Highly recommend.

Great location to walk to Kids Corner, the beach and downtown. We appreciated how well stocked the house was for our family’s needs. Appreciated having a wagon and other beach needs. The rental was well priced for what there was and we loved our time together there.
