Perfect quiet location

Modern, clean, comfy bed, good size room plenty of space for 2 suitcases and hanging clothes, handy self serve laundromat across road, quiet area short walk to train station, restaurants and tourist area. Small breakfast to start our day, our host was a lovely lady who was very attentive, I would definitely stay here again. It was a little tricky finding the correct building, when you turn into the dead end street it’s a car park on the right, back of the building behind car rental, press buzzer for Melrose Executive enter and go to level 1, turn left out of lift.

The lady didn’t speak English very well but she was very accommodating and was able to store our luggage safely for 1 day and also provided our breakfast the day before so that we could eat early and catch our 5:30 am train to Naples. The place was hard to find (we had to ask a local to help us). They need to put a large sign on the building instead of just the small Melrose label by the door buzzer to get into the building. The room was very clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. We would stay here again!

We were in contact with the property several times the day of checkin with our arrival time. We arrived at 1:30pm, check in was at 1:00pm however the room was not ready as they were doing a photo shoot?! Before even getting the room we were asked to pay the city tax immediately. We waited until after 2pm and inquired again and were told the room wouldn’t be ready for another hour (after 3pm). We were only in Sorrento for 1 night and were extremely disappointed as we had just travelled all day and wanted to get a shower and then head out for the evening. Definitely not appropriate to not have the room ready for checkin. Would not recommend.

Melrose exceeded our expectations in Sorrento. The house keeper stayed a bit late to check us in and she constantly asked how we were doing and would bring us breakfast in bed. High praises to her. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay in Sorrento. Very clean. Breakfast was great, brought to the room each morning in the timeframe you pick (earliest was 8-8:30 so book activities after 9 to have breakfast). They let us park our motorcycle in the main lot at the front door which was really nice. Bed was comfortable. Water came out of the shower onto the floor but we put a towel along the bottom inside the shower and it helped lots. Dont leave food or candy on the counter or ants will come in, we only had ants when we left candy out. They cleaned the room and gave fresh towels every day. Good AC. Easy walk to ferry port and main area. Would recommend!

This is a bed and breakfast more than a hotel and can be a bit tricky to find (go around the building to the back door in the parking lot). The owner is excellent at communicating and will answer very quickly any questions you may have. Mama is the cleaner and bringer of your breakfast and she is a joy! We really enjoyed this lovely facility.

It's not a hotel but like all the previous reviewers have said it is a room in an apartment. However we stayed here for four nights and if your just looking for somewhere to sleep, shower and then go out all day this is your place. The bathroom was big enough and the shower was def better then i expected. Location was perfect not in the busy part of the strip. The ladies were very friendly in particular the older woman who was more than accommodating for our needs.

This property is listed as a hotel, however; is more of a glorified hostel with private rooms. They have converted 1 apartment into 4 small rooms. The cleaner is wonderful and tries to make your stay amazing. The space is nice but there is a moisture / sewage issue where the bathroom has a musty/ outhouse smell. As the space was converted, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone’s conversations, alarms, toilets flushing etc. Additionally, there is a light that is motion censored at the armoire. If you need to use the washroom at night there is no way to turn off the light so you wake up your partner or baby with the bright light. Breakfast was good, coffee of your choice, bread of your choice and a juice. It is brought to you each morning unlike the photo where there is food layed out for you to choose. Each day you fill out a card with the amount, they were very generous. There is hotel construction outside which is very noisy. The space is very good walking distance to any amenities with a small grocery store with fresh produce, bakery, and laundry mat across the way. There is stated an elevator however it is very tiny, our stroller could not fit inside. My husband would carry it up the 2 flight’s of stairs each way. This was no issue for us however may be important for others. The room was very clean and bright: the patio is a nice touch and the black out blinds work extremely well. We had a nice stay but it was not at all what was listed / expected.

Amazing, cozy experience. The facility was VERY clean and everyday cleaning was available. Great spot in the heart of Sorrento. My hosts were very kind. Breakfast was provided as well and is fresh. They make sure things are hot and ready to eat and delivery at your preferred time. Only thing was that the shower was leaking water. Netflix capability available on the TV. A bit difficult to find initially. Go around the back and up the gate. Beautiful view of other apartments outside.
