This property had it all ..huge bedroom, very large games room, pool, hot tub, suana beside a park on the Rideau Canal. Our ship did come in! 2 blocks from Main St. and best ice cream ever. Gorgeous.

Wow! The pictures don’t do the place justice. We stayed in room 5 which is in the newer building and absolutely lovely! It was slightly more expensive than a regular room but worth every penny! The hostess, Caroline was very welcoming and the accommodations were first rate! Merrickville is very quaint with lots of local shops that are bougie cool but not crazy expensive. I highly recommend the 1840 House! One side note for American travelers- your US streaming services only work in the US. Great news, though- whatever the heck Crave is has a kajlllion channels and they are available for your stay.
