Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the pictures. Some of the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The bathroom hadn’t been fully cleaned. A disappointment all around.

Excellent Stay

We stayed here as part of a ten day tour around North Italy and were not disappointed. Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Breakfast was lovely and so was the area overlooking the lake - very relaxing. We walked into Sirmione old town within around 10 minutes too. This is a great hotel and such good value. We're tempted to go back this summer too!

Simple, free parking, 10-15 min walk to castle

-Easy to find & has a small lot with free parking. If it gets full, they collect keys & allow double-parking & will move cars as needed -Easy check in, good service -Room was simple & clean, except for the floor which I feel never got cleaned. My feet were filthy after a shower. -Bathroom clean & simple, but shower was VERY small. Like another hotel on our trip, it had just enough room to stand & turn in. -The A/C worked well, but shut off sometime during the night & I woke up hot & had to turn it back on. Not sure if it was user error or not! :) -There is no elevator & I believe all/most rooms are upstairs. They offered to help with luggage but my husband took care of the bags. -One thing we didn’t like was that they didn’t have an iron on site! They stated due to fire hazard, but it was rough for us as we had to resort to some creative hair dryer/flat iron combinations to have wearable dress shirts for our day/night out with clients. -Mosquitos were bad in Lake Garda all over. we got bit in the chairs by the lake and the dining area. We didn’t have any issues in our room, though. The dock and chairs near the lake would have been really nice if the mosquitos hadn’t been so bad. Not the hotel’s fault, just didn’t get to enjoy what they offered. -Free breakfast was pretty good - lots of options like eggs, something bacon-ish, cereals, breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, etc. The espresso was good & servers were nice. -The walk to the castle was about 10-15 min

The hotel was an excellent value. It was a short walk from the historic center which was nice as it was quiet, yet accessible to all shops, restaurants and activities. It was very clean and the staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants, providing directions and ordering our taxi. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits, local cheeses and breads. Nice view of the lake if you requested a balcony view when you reserved.

Brilliant hotel great location lovely staff

Staff have been extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms are modern bright and comfortable. The location is as near perfect as can be. Ideal for the ferry service and very convenient for restaurants and bars.

Nice beach area

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Salviola. The room was large and had a balcony. The location was convenient to the historical sites and restaurants. The rocky beach was very nice with lounge chairs and umbrellas.
