Our family had a wonderful visit at the Mighty Chickadee. The owners were very responsive in any questions we had in planning and while during our stay. The Cabin was cozy, in fact I wanted to check the mattress brand and buy the same bed for my home, it was SO comfortable. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the 3 different levels to play hide and seek, the video games, the pool, the arcade games.The parents were able to relax in the hot tub and look at the mountain stars.10/10 would recommend and return for another visit.

Cabin was excellent, has just about everything you need for your stay! Cabin layout was nice, plus extra amenities like the game room & fire pit! Just minor inconveniences like the pool alarm not working, one bedroom only had 1 pillow, very thin blankets, & a little dirty in few areas. Overall, highly recommend for a great getaway!

We really enjoyed this property. This was just a weekend getaway for us and we were very comfortable. It was very clean, nice comfortable beds and the instructions for our stay were very clear. The house is far enough from town to be very quiet but close enough to go out to eat or do some shopping. We have no complaints at all. The host was very nice and quick to respond. We would stay here again in the future.

Even though there was a minor issue with the pool, management was super responsive and helpful! Our family had more than enough space to relax, have fun, and enjoy a pretty spectacular view. We absolutely want to try and make it a yearly tradition.

Our family including my son, daughter-in-law, 2 granddaughters & their husbands, and my 3 great granddaughters had a wonderful time at the Mighty Chickadee. It was a trip for our family to be together for a quick Christmas vacation.

Mighty Beautiful!

The house is beautiful and was very clean.The Smore's welcome gift was a very nice touch. The house looks like the pictures. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The communication was great by email and by text. We actually had 4 cars that fit nicely in the parking area. The whole family loved this property and the area. I was excited I could see the Northern Lights from the balcony one night.

Mighty Chickadee

Our stay was perfect. House was clean & it was a very easy check - in! No hassles, no wait times , no nothing. To my surprise they even had the things for s’mores already out for us to enjoy on the fire pit. A game in the game room had been broken before we got there & it was noted with us immediately by the property so it could not be blamed on our kids! Overall it was just a good stay! I would definitely recommend

Family vacation

Mighty Chickadee was the best! I had the most enjoyable week with family and my 3 month old granddaughter absolutely loved the pool. The cabin was beautiful and just like the pictures showed. Would love to come back sometime in the future and stay again!!

PERFECT

This cabin was PERFECT for our crew of 7. I read through the reviews and one that stuck out was, “it looked just like the pictures”…I originally thought “that’s not possible because pictures always look better”. Let’s just say, the house really does look just like the pictures. It was clean, spacious and the host were only a call/email away. The kitchen was well equipped with necessities including a blender and s’more kits that my children enjoyed. This Spring Break trip will never be forgotten and it’s a huge thanks to our first mountain/cabin getaway being a small success.

Everything was really nice. Didn’t really like that if we wash our makeup off with the wash clothes we would be charged for linens. Most people use make up remover. But definitely get darker linens because this is a petty thing when paying what you do for the property. Other than that things were great.

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

My husband and our four children stayed at the Mighty Chickadee for an extended weekend. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at the cabin. It was beautifully decorated & clean! We had plenty of space and room. The drive to the cabin is an easy drive on paved road but I would recommend AWD, especially if rain is in the forecast. We drove our van up, but next time we will bring the truck. The room temperature is controlled by the owner, but she was always super quick to respond and bump the temp where we needed. Highly recommend this property & owner! Very thankful for an excellent experience!

Worth it

Last minute trip to spend time with grand babies and sisters plus go to Dollywood. It was amazing. We will be back. Loved the privacy of the pool with little ones. Who would swim all night.
