Great House! Great Location!

The house was great for us (4 adults & 3 young kids). Plenty of room, clean, and fun game room for the kids. Close to Pigeon Forge. Loved it.

Quiet, spacious, fit our group well

Communication with property owner was excellent. We had a slight problem with the HVAC upon arrival and John was easy to get in touch with, came over quickly to help and got it working and still sent an expert over the next morning. We were very comfortable and John is very pleasant. The bedrooms and bathrooms nice. We had less than 10 people and everyone had a comfortable spot to sleep and the 3 floors allowed great space for is. The game room loft was nice and used throughout the weekend. If anything negative could be said, it would be extra cleaning needed, door frames, behind end tables, corners for any cobwebs that can show up in a cabin. Other than that, the place was clean and tidy, well decorated. The kitchen was stocked with things we needed and everything was easy to find. The refrigerator was perfect, esp the drink access door. The porch swings were nice for a cup of coffee in the morning and the jacuzzi was fabulous for relaxing late night conversations. Smokey cove has new construction but it was quiet all weekend, no noise issues. We would stay again.

Great for Families

Overall the cabin has everything a family would need to enjoy their stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Property manager is quick to respond. Cabin was clean.

One of the nicest cabins in the area

Cleanliness was top notch, not one bug was seen and the owner has put a lot of thought into the cabin. Christmas tree, two different kinds of coffee makers, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table overlay, foosball and a video game that unfortunately the screen turned off frequently in the end of our stay. The only negative was the fumes of the ventless fireplace, we used it occasionally.

Great Christmas Getaway

Our extended family wanted to have a short getaway to celebrate Christmas together. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us to sleep and visit with each other for the long weekend. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday. We enjoyed using the hot tub, playing air hockey, and watching Christmas movies together. There was an issue with the refrigerator not cooling properly while we were there, but the owner was easy to get in touch with right away and had a technician there to address the issue within a couple of hours. I would highly recommend staying here!

Weekend Friend Gathering

The area was very quiet and the neighborhood was great (a few potholes in the road but not too bad). The cabin was nice and was decorated for Christmas. There were 8 of us staying here but we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the game room (plenty of options for games). Couldn't watch football on the big screen in the movie room (needed to enter your password for your personal tv provider) but we were able to watch in the living room with a fire going (gas logs). The only thing that we missed out on was the jacuzzi (it may have been winterized already because the jets and heater weren't cutting on). Otherwise the weekend stay was great!

Excellent Cabin Setup

The cabin was lovely with a warm cabin vibe and fun Christmas decor throughout! The place was spacious full of entertainment for my young kids. Unfortunately the hot tub wouldn’t heat up which was a bummer, but otherwise we had a blast! We even saw three bear cubs outside our window just minutes after we unloaded our bags into the cabin.

Perfect get away

Loved how spacious and comfortable the cabin was. We had three families stay together and had plenty of room to spread out and also when we came together. Loved the theater room and game room. Hope to stay here again next November! Plenty of dishes, towels, cookware. We stayed 4 nights and hated to leave.

Needs upkeep

The cabin is nice but is in need of upkeep and cleaning. The games were a let down, the air hockey table had pucks that didn’t fit well, the pool table was leveled with cardboard pieces, the video game required coins to play but we couldn’t get it to work. There were many light bulbs out including outside so it was dark around the door at night, thick dust on door frames, crumbs on the tables. Needs some basic upkeep and a deep clean. It did not deter us from enjoying our time but definitely needs some TLC.

Beautiful and spacious cabin

This cabin was perfect for our group of 7. 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great. The game room was a huge hit with my kids and the location was perfect! My kids are already asking when we can go back.

1) There were spider webs all around the property . 2) No soaps or shampoo's provided. 3) The Internet/cable box was left out in open and there was a high chance of accident when raining with rain water falling on the open cables. 4)When checked on 'Message the owner' option, Vrbo didn't load the page, so there was no communication with the owner.

Family trip

The cabin is absolutely beautiful with excellent amenities and space. Evidently there is no insulation between the floors because it is very loud in the main floor bedroom. The entire cabin especially outside needs a GOOD CLEANING. We were greeted with spiders and huge webs as we walked up to the front door. They had been there awhile. If it were cleaned up, we would definitely stay again.

Very spacious! Great location!

The location was perfect! The community pool is a little small considering how many homes are in the neighborhood but that's nothing against the property owners. The house is spacious! We had plenty of room to spread out. The basement was perfect for us and our kids. I'm not sure if it's normal with cabins but there's absolutely zero insulation in the walls, ceilings. You can hear every footstep, every conversation, everytime someone peed...so if you're a light sleeper, bring a sound machine! The cleanliness is the reason I give this 4 stars. I did already talk with the owner and they're refunding our cleaning fee but I would much rather have had a spotless house instead of a refund. The dishes weren't all clean, the fans have 2" dust sitting on them so when you turn them on dust flies everywhere. The jets didn't work in one of the bathtubs but thankfully my son in law is an electrician and figured it out. It was also very dark bc half of the lightbulbs in the house were burnt out. We couldn't find any so we ended up going to buy some ourselves. The hot tub had so many chemicals that we couldn't use it for a few days. The chemical smell would knock you off your feet. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances all worked great.

Great spot with some quirks

This cabin was very nice and suited the needs of our group of six adults and 5 young children. The pros were the space and layout of the cabin. Each bedroom was on a different floor and had its own bathroom. So we never felt cramped. The hot tub and basement area were great spaces for the kids as were the game room/loft area. But there were some quirks. First, we found old food/takeout boxes from previous guests in the bedrooms. We also found an old flosser /toothpick in one of the beds. So the cleaning could have used some work before our arrival. Also, on our second day there, the main floor toilet started leaking water into the basement. We turned off the water and immediately called the number listed for the host and messaged the host. A plumber was sent out the next day and we didn’t have any issues after that. Overall we had a great trip but the cleaning crew could have been better.

Tons to do!

Loved this cabin. Three levels and tons of games and activities. The bedrooms have king beds and their own fireplaces which was wonderful. Hot tub was perfect. No bath soap, so bring your own.
