Overall great stay but the property needed a little minor attention such as light bulbs, etc. Arcade game wasn’t working which was an item we specifically look for in a cabin. But we notified the Owner a few items were addressed that could be easily done.

I want to start by saying this cabin is lovely and has so much potential. It is about 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge. There are several cabins in this resort, and all of the other cabins are in much better condition. Lots of spider webs and dirt on the outside of the cabin - much more than one season or year. We have raised 3 sons, so we are no strangers to normal wear and tear and dust, but some things were excessive here. I wonder if the owner ever visits this cabin or monitors the cleaning company. Inside, the carpeted stairs are in need of vacuuming, and there is visible dust under furniture. Closets and storage spaces were cluttered and in disarray, and it just did not feel very well cared for. I chose this cabin specifically for the video game, pool table, and other teen-friendly amenities. The video game did not work and the pool table was unlevel with a ping pong paddle under one leg and cardboard pieces under another, and only one pool stick was usable. Finally, our 19 year old son found a loaded handgun in a nightstand. I am thankful that we have taught him how to respect and handle firearms, but this could have been a tragedy if a child had found the gun. I texted the manager, and received no response. Twenty minutes later the police knocked on the door. Some response would have been much appreciated. We will not stay at this cabin again.

This home was perfect for our family vacation! We really enjoyed the fireplace(s) in the cool mornings and evenings and the kids absolutely loved the Jacuzzi and the game room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary components for preparing meals as needed. This home was close enough to everything for easy commuting, but just far enough away from the Hustle/Bustle of the busy traffic. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Amenities weren’t as clean as expected. Things under the bed from past guests, flood light blown lighting pathway to front door, steps going to porch were rotten and the bottom step worped, front porch light was covered in cob webs to the point it didn’t put out much light, and don’t think the porch has been cleaned in years with bug crap all over the entry way!

Great House! Great Location!

The house was great for us (4 adults & 3 young kids). Plenty of room, clean, and fun game room for the kids. Close to Pigeon Forge. Loved it.

Quiet, spacious, fit our group well

Communication with property owner was excellent. We had a slight problem with the HVAC upon arrival and John was easy to get in touch with, came over quickly to help and got it working and still sent an expert over the next morning. We were very comfortable and John is very pleasant. The bedrooms and bathrooms nice. We had less than 10 people and everyone had a comfortable spot to sleep and the 3 floors allowed great space for is. The game room loft was nice and used throughout the weekend. If anything negative could be said, it would be extra cleaning needed, door frames, behind end tables, corners for any cobwebs that can show up in a cabin. Other than that, the place was clean and tidy, well decorated. The kitchen was stocked with things we needed and everything was easy to find. The refrigerator was perfect, esp the drink access door. The porch swings were nice for a cup of coffee in the morning and the jacuzzi was fabulous for relaxing late night conversations. Smokey cove has new construction but it was quiet all weekend, no noise issues. We would stay again.

Great for Families

Overall the cabin has everything a family would need to enjoy their stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Property manager is quick to respond. Cabin was clean.

One of the nicest cabins in the area

Cleanliness was top notch, not one bug was seen and the owner has put a lot of thought into the cabin. Christmas tree, two different kinds of coffee makers, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table overlay, foosball and a video game that unfortunately the screen turned off frequently in the end of our stay. The only negative was the fumes of the ventless fireplace, we used it occasionally.

Great Christmas Getaway

Our extended family wanted to have a short getaway to celebrate Christmas together. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us to sleep and visit with each other for the long weekend. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday. We enjoyed using the hot tub, playing air hockey, and watching Christmas movies together. There was an issue with the refrigerator not cooling properly while we were there, but the owner was easy to get in touch with right away and had a technician there to address the issue within a couple of hours. I would highly recommend staying here!

Weekend Friend Gathering

The area was very quiet and the neighborhood was great (a few potholes in the road but not too bad). The cabin was nice and was decorated for Christmas. There were 8 of us staying here but we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the game room (plenty of options for games). Couldn't watch football on the big screen in the movie room (needed to enter your password for your personal tv provider) but we were able to watch in the living room with a fire going (gas logs). The only thing that we missed out on was the jacuzzi (it may have been winterized already because the jets and heater weren't cutting on). Otherwise the weekend stay was great!

Excellent Cabin Setup

The cabin was lovely with a warm cabin vibe and fun Christmas decor throughout! The place was spacious full of entertainment for my young kids. Unfortunately the hot tub wouldn’t heat up which was a bummer, but otherwise we had a blast! We even saw three bear cubs outside our window just minutes after we unloaded our bags into the cabin.

Perfect get away

Loved how spacious and comfortable the cabin was. We had three families stay together and had plenty of room to spread out and also when we came together. Loved the theater room and game room. Hope to stay here again next November! Plenty of dishes, towels, cookware. We stayed 4 nights and hated to leave.
