Welcome to Swim Chalet, a newly renovated 6 bed/5 bath cabin with an indoor pool, hot tub, movie theater, fire pit, and jaw-dropping views of idyllic Wears Valley. Swim Chalet sleeps 16, making it the perfect place to gather with friends or family in a comfortable setting with room for all. We have excellent 5G internet service and DirecTV. Freshly renovated in 2020, the cabin's brand new kitchen includes a large French door refrigerator, double ovens, and a huge granite peninsula—ideal for serving group meals. Chefs will feel right at home in the well-stocked kitchen, which includes an electric griddle, waffle maker, Crock Pot, blender, two drip coffee makers, a Keurig, and more.

Upon entering, guests will be wowed at the wall of windows that showcase the northwestern-facing view. You won't want to miss the stunning sunsets from the deck! The open floor plan allows for ample hangout space, with the kitchen, living room, and dining area comprising the main level communal space. The great room features an impressive stone fireplace with gas logs, which is available for use from October-March, and a 65" TV. There are two bedrooms flanking the living room, one of which is the spacious master. Both bedrooms have king size beds, adjacent full baths and have direct access to the deck. The loft bedroom, which overlooks the living room, has a king size bed and it's own bathroom. The main level also includes a full size washer and dryer.

Bring the fun downstairs to the rec room, where you'll find a movie theater with 86" TV, pool table, Multicade arcade system, Nintendo Classic Mini, board games, and a second gas fireplace with 65" TV mounted above it. The brand new movie theater has comfortable seating for 9. Guests may watch cable TV, log in to their own Netflix or Disney+ accounts, or use the blu-Ray player. Located just off the rec room is the heated indoor pool, with a maximum depth of 4 ft. Pool towels are included. For safety, the door to the pool room has a digital keypad lock, plus a manual latch at the top. On warm days, open the garage door to let fresh air in to the pool area and catch some rays in the driveway while enjoying the view! Just steps from the pool, you will find the outdoor hot tub, which comfortably seats 6 adults. In addition to the rec room, there are 3 bedrooms located downstairs, two of which have king size beds and one which has queen-over-queen bunkbeds. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the movie theater area and two full baths.

Outside the main entrance, the entry deck has a Weber charcoal grill, for which you must bring your own charcoal. There is also a fire pit available for use at your own risk. Guests must provide their own firewood, which can be easily found at all area grocery stores and the Dollar General, which is 5 minutes from the cabin.

Swim Chalet's location provides the perfect mix of "getting away from it all" in a quiet, private mountain setting while easily joining the fun and frenzy of the Pigeon Forge strip when the mood strikes. Located just outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the cabin is a 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge or 35 minutes to Gatlinburg. You won't want to leave!

Note: Both the driveway and the road leading up to the cabin are fully paved. The driveway is quite steep, but the parking areas are flat. Guests should not have any issues navigating the steep driveway, but we want you to know what to expect.

Perfect mountain getaway

Private, beautiful cabin with relatively quick access to national park, pigeon forge, etc. The property was exactly as advertised. The pool was perfect for the kiddos and the game room and theatre room provided lots of entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor patio with the fire pit was great for sunset watching. The porch overlooking the valley below and mountains in the distance made for amazing sunset watching. Beds were comfy! The owner was great at checking in and responsive to all communication. It was a wonderful stay and we had a great time.

Great Cabin for Family Fall Break

Great location, close to many attractions like Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. There are plenty of things to do, such as using the hot tub, enjoying the pool, and watching movies in the entertainment center. The property offers plenty of space and bedrooms, making it suitable for large families. The beds were amazing, and we had a great night's sleep. Would highly recommend

Wonderful quiet get away

My family and I stayed in this cabin as our big family trip before the school year begins. We were looking for something that was quiet, but not too far away from town and something that could accommodate us as a family. (There were quite a few of us!) This cabin was the perfect fit for us. Everyone was able to have their own room. There was plenty of activities for the children, including the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub.

We absolutely loved our stay at the swim chalet. We filled every room with our party and never felt like we were crammed. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with tons of kitchen utensils. Fantastic Location, Secluded, Awesome Views!!

First time visiting the area and couldn't be happier with selecting the Swim Chalet. Ali (the owner) has been super helpful and took care of a little issue we had, immediately. The house is amazing and huge... the pictures don't do it justice... its even better than that. Best part, your NOT looking at the neighbors or for that matter any other close by houses. You are in your own world... in a very busy tourist area and a lot of the other rentals in the area are on top of one another. The road up to the house may scare some people with its windy turns but once you get there you will really appreciate that for what you are getting to stay in. Little tight on parking for our 2 pickups and 2 SUVs but definitely can make it work. If your thinking, like we originally were, to travel to the area in an RV, you may have to park it elsewhere... it won't make it up the road or driveway I don't think. It is approximately 20-30 minutes from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge which keeps you close to the action, about also away from the noise, traffic, and people. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for a large family vacation!

I booked this property for a large family vacation. We had children that were as young as 3 as well as teenagers. Everyone loved it! Everything was clean. The check-in process was incredibly easy. Our host, Ali, was incredibly responsive when I had a couple of questions and incredibly friendly. The pool was the perfect size to hang out and relax with the kids. The rooms were very comfortable. The teens in our group loved the theater and pool table. The view is AMAZING. Oh and you'll get to see some wildlife too. I highly recommend a stay here. It was so great and truly a bargain. You're really not too far from anything.

Family reunion

My family and I stayed for family reunion and had a wonderful time! Plenty of space for everyone. Our adults and older kids enjoyed the downstairs game room. Rooms were very insulated from sound which was great because we had lots of littles with different bed times. Large dining table so our family could eat together was nice! Location wasn’t far from attractions and hiking. Hosts were quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend staying at this home!

Nice propery. We had plenty of room for our 11 family members to spread out. We had a rainy week but still able to sit on back deck and take in the views. At one point we had 5 vehicles in the driveway and learned for the first few to turn around and back into place. The kitchen was well equipped but could use a few small serving bowls. The view from pool is a little obstructed due to growing trees. Overall, we had a wonderful family reunion

Comfortable house with all the amenities but still a cabin feel. We especially appreciated that the house itself was kid friendly. The surrounding property is steep but that’s what we expected as we wanted to be in the mountains with a view. Great location— we spent our time between Dollywood and hiking in the park, both of which were an easy drive.

Great cabin for rain or shine!

We stayed at the Swim Chalet for a big family vacation and had a great time! We had children with us ranging from just short of 1 year old to 16 years old and they all loved their stay. I am so happy we booked this property, because the weather was rainy and exceptionally foggy our entire stay which put a damper on our plans to hike and sight see. Instead, we hung around the cabin much more than expected and it was still an amazing time! The kids spent most of their time in the pool, and the rest of us enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The cabin was big enough that everyone could all have their own space as needed, and we could also crowd around the table for a big family game night. The view was spectacular (when it wasn’t too foggy) and the balcony was much bigger than I expected. The adults loved sitting out there with coffee in the mornings even with the rain. The cabin was true to the pictures, very clean and well maintained, and in an excellent location. This cabin saved our rainy, foggy trip! We hope to go back in the future when the weather cooperates and we can do more hiking!
